TAM 9 Wishlist

From what I was told, another reason for why there was no webstreaming this year is that it cuts into the sales of DVDs. If that's true, it is unlikely to change for TAM 9.

What I want to see at TAM 9: Me :) I just wish the dates were announced, plane tickets from Norway are cheap now, but they will get much more expensive.

Okay, I honestly don't think the words "TAM9 from Outer Space" are an issue. It is exactly the sort of pun I would probably invent myself (except in this case, I didn't).

But, if I were, hypothetically speaking, to strongly object to the name, you would have to come up with a better argument than that, to convince me, otherwise.

If I were, hypothetically speaking, to strongly object to the name, I would also point out that the movie it references contained a lot of pseudo-scientific junk: Including resurrection of the dead. But, since I don't, I won't.
 
With regards to "TAM9 From Outer Space," while the associated movie is so bad it's good (IMO), no one has mentioned that it also probably inspired the "special space science and skepticism focus" that is one of the themes this year.

As an astronomy fan, that makes me happy. :)
 
So will they replace Randi on video link , halfway through (like Bela Lugosi) with old film of him from past TAMS?

And will anyone notice the difference?
