TAM 9 Wishlist

If they go with the tam 9 from outer space maybe a panel on looking for life in outer space with: Phil Plait, Seth Shostak, Neil Tyson and maybe moderated by Wil Wheaton.

I missed that event. I wasn't notified they were going to be there. :( :mad:

I think I was watching the Brobdingnagian Bards reunite, at the time, which I thought was a highlight of the con. Though, I would have skipped it, in an instant, if I knew they were going to be at that podcast thingy.

Besides, Joel Hogson wasn't there, so it's not that huge a deal that I missed them. If Joel was there, I would have been bashing my head against the walls, for days.

We looked EVERYWHERE for you to notify you, but couldn't find you. They had to settle for mentioning it multiple times on stage at Dragon*Con and in three separate posts on Skepchick :(
 
Lawrence Krauss and PZ Myers...maybe they're not professional general skeptics, but Krauss can speak well, and PZ hardly does any public speaking, and I'd like to see him.

Then again, these guys might have gone to earlier ones, but I don't know, def. not 7 or 8 at least :P.

+1 for Roach as well. And Emily Rosa would be nice, even though she apparently had to cancel for 7 :(. I know she only did the one things, but it'd be cool anyway because she did it when she was a kid.

The problem with webstreaming is one of copyright. At TAM7, they played (among other things) excerpts from The Big Bang Theory. These went out free and unedited over the internet, which was a no-no. So if webstreaming is going to occur, they're going to have to be VERY careful about what gets streamed. The JREF does not need an intellectual property problem.
