What happens if you click on the Arrival Data & Time heading in alvarop's post of the table? It sorts by date, and the first entry is for "14 July", it looks like it's out of order, but the entry is really " 14 July".

Okay, I made our reservation for the 11 o'clock hotel shuttle on the 14th of July, but neglected to ask where the shuttle picks up at the airport. Where might that be?

This is from SP's website... "The airport shuttle from McCarran Airport has very distinguished South Point Logos and pick-up is at Ground (or Level) Zero."

IIRC the hotel shuttle area is pretty easy to find at the airport, I've never taken the SP shuttle though... so I'm not sure how easy it is to find.

It's tricky...many of the private shuttles are on the first floor (same level as baggage claim, just out the exit doors). South Point's is one of the ones at Level Zero - which is a bit hard to find. It's kind of off from the baggage claim area and down some escalators, and the shuttles are near the parking garage. Ask someone at the info desk when you get there, as I'm not explaining it very well.

There are two checkpoints in Vegas airport when leaving, both of them with long lines of people, perhaps 200 persons each (this has been my experience year after year).

The first one is an immigration checkpoint, and the second is security.

The good news it that both of them run fairly fast (immigration faster than security). I think it's always taken me not more than 1 hour to clear both checkpoints.

So if your plane departs at 10am, leaving the hotel at 7am should be OK.

Please, someone correct me if I've got anything wrong here.

ETA: You'll need som time for baggage check in too, but it's no longer than 15 minutes in my experience.

We're flying on to San Diego for Comic Con so wanted to make sure we gave ourselves enough time to clear security and baggage check in. Thanks heaps!

Last year it took me a while to find the South Point shuttle. If you arriving at baggage claim, there is a shuttle area to the left, but that is NOT where the South Point shuttle arrives/departs. To the right of baggage claim, there is an escalator that takes you down one level to an open area next to the parking garages. There are some benches there, and I think there are signs.
