Their latest high-priority pickets will take place at the funerals of the Tucson shooting victims. In particular, they will target the the funeral of Christina Taylor Greene, the aforementioned 9-year-old.

Additionally, in a YouTube video (below), Phelps applauds the killings. He says, "Thank God for the violent shooter, one of Your soldier heroes in Tucson. God appointed the Afghanistan veteran to avenge himself on this evil nation. However many are dead, Westboro will picket their funerals."

One clarification is that so far, it's been reported that Jared Lee Loughner was rejected from military service. This was said in a direct statement from the Pentagon.

I really hope that the people planning on doing this abhorrent action are denied any services they'll need to get there. Food, lodging, gas, transportation, etc. Their pictures need to be posted everywhere.

How can a nine year old, not yet of the age of majority, not able to vote, never voted on anything, have any reason to be picketed. It makes zero sense. It's obviously irrational.

The American education system has just fallen over and smashed into a million pieces, proving it's uselessness for logic and critical thinking. It's time to teach them in elementary school so that in 15 years this kind of derelict, irrational, low IQ "thinking" will be a part of the dark age past.

I believe we should not ignore this and someone should start a debunking site on him. This is just too sad and pathetic.

Because, as has been explained before, the purpose of the Phelps picketing is media attention and lawsuits. Nine-year-olds make more incendiary targets.
It always surprises me that people still pretend what the Phelps clan does has an ideology behind it.

Rationality and Fred Phelps have not been acquainted for many years now.

I know, on one hand, I'd like to give them zero attention at all because they certainly deserve none. On the other, they will stoop to any level of disrespect necessary to get attention.
 
No not at all, actually I know nothing about him but this. I can't be the only one. That's why I think we need a Phelps debunker.

And I'm just saying, it's obviously irrational, creepy, and disrespectful, what with her having nothing to do with the problems of the world. Maybe someone should tell him that.

The more you know, the creepier it gets. The church is primarily his extended family. His daughter is his spokesmen, who is response to criticism has said, “she is not innocent. They corrupted her from the womb. God doesn’t make mistakes.”. They also involve their young children in their "protest" activities.

I would think we can bring any concerns about this to them, as well, not just the families. Although, I am under the impression that the families of those concerned are the ones who are supposed to ask for this help.

You know, just a couple of hours after I heard about the shooting, I thought to myself: "I wonder if that ass Phelps is going to show up at the funerals?"

Gad, I hate being right sometimes.

Btw, I'm more than certain the Patriot Riders are going to be on top of this; at least, I hope they will be.
