Moderated Steel structures cannot globally collapse due to gravity alone

can you prove that this building wasn't deconstructed? that it wasn't hit by large pneumatic or hydraulic devices? it's ludicrous to say that fire impacts steel

do you know why buildings, high rise offices or apartments aren't made out of wood construction and framing

go ahead and take a guess and now, it isn't cost realted

c'mon big boy supply us with an answer, take you best shot

why are buildings, high rise offices or apartments, why aren't they made out of wood construction and framing instead of the common steel?

Termites.

have a great day people, I hope that I was able to educate a few people today and to correct their obvious misconceptions

I mean, if people like me didn't come around, people like you would still be believeing that the earth was flat and the moon made out of cheeze

Suffice to say, maybe you have not had the opportunities in life to understand engineering and it's related applications as I have. That doesn't make it your fault when it comes to debating me, it just gives me a clear and very concise advantage on this topic.

So remeber what I always say, you always walk away a little bit smarter after you read one of my posts.

lmao, when does the first line or A line players get here Bill? it's like all I have been able to do is throwing soft for batting practice and they can't hit even the blooper pitches.

Surely, There has to be some people in here or other venues/message boards that actually have some hands on building, engineering or materials experience that believes and trusts the NIST report, somewhere in the world.

I don't know when the top guys show up Bob. NIST just taking the report on the Twin Towers 'up to the point of collapse' should be enough to tell anybody there was a huge cover up. The NIST report on WTC7 is blown out of the water altogether. Is it true that NIST is now not trusted in the engineering community around the world ?

Of course we do. Even a sea sponge would walk smarter in comparison to your posts.

Seriously, do you have any data at all to back up any of the assertions you've made? So far, I've seen you throw out blanket statements with no supporting evidence, ignore all evidence to the contrary, and refuse to answer almost any question put to you.

Seriously, are you familiar with English? Just to make sure, can you post your definitions of "win" and "debate"?

By the way, you spell "cheeze" with an s, not a z.

Bill and Bob, the worse 911Truth terrorist apologist try to outwit themselves by spewing the dumbest ideas on steel, fire, and the WTC complex attacked by terrorists on 911. Delusions don't come faster than the posts of Bill and Bob. The 911Truth twins.

Oops, this building was destoryed by fire, never used after the fire again. A skyscraper...
onemeridiansag.jpg

For kids watching, fire, office fires quickly weaken steel and firemen have to be aware of possible collapse. This building was feared to fall until the 30th floor sprinklers stopped the fire; firefighters had evacuated and the fire was extinguished by the fire systems. The building had to be taken down; a skyscraper destroyed by fire, too weak to be used again. Proves old Bill and Bob who spew delusions wrong by evidence.

I was sort of hoping their A team would show up. But you get what you get, I really can't find anyone in the industry or commercial market that backs and embraces the NIST report anymore, not on the internet or in real life.

I mean, even my conservative friends suspect that the government lied and/or are hiding facts.

Seems rather crazy that people still accept the government's word on something - especially when it comes to 9/11 and the wtc when a simple and old fashioned keroscene heater, with it's thin gauged steel sheets, gets warm to the touch, but never hot enough to warp or be damaged

yet that same steel managed to warp, bend, misalign and fail to support when high grade, hot rolled steel girders and support beams failed under lower, much lower and less constant temperatures

sure i could through out the old things like, my fireplace grate never melts, my weber grill never melts, my wood burning ben franklin stove never melted, my jet engines never melted, but those are old news and no shills could or will ever be able to explain those items

they are steel anomalies to these people, steel just should always fail due to fire, they know so because the NIST told them so and the government would never lie to them, that's hopw they think and act, as silly as it sounds.

they just can't seem to grasp steel and heat. fire and temperature

they can't even explain why the aluminum slats on the exterior of the building, where the fire, heat and smoke exited the wtc's, why that thin gauged aluminum fascia was never melted or harmed, yet rugged steel was cooked through and through

just makes you roll your eyes and laugh and yes, no companies that need things tested from a reliability, technical, strategic or warranty point of view can or will trust the word of the NIST any longer.

Even underwriter's labratory, U/L, everyone has seen that, is distancing themselves from their association with the NIST, because the NIST has become politicized

I guess the children are still trying to figure out and to come back why high rise buildings and structures are not made of wood. That one really stumped them, hehhehehe

OMG shalamar confuses make horse shoes withpouring and rolling steel..---I'll just roll my eyes laughing like the rest of you fine people must also be doing

Is there something special about the steel in the towers that makes it immure to fire and heat?

Too bad many people on this thread hare posted examples of structural steel deforming due to fire and heat.

"The fail is strong with this one."

The blacksmithing analogy was to show that yes, steel can be warped and deformed due to heat and stress.

Oh the irony.

Do us all a favor bob, step off your slippery soapbox for a minute and learn to use the quote function, and learn how to spell while you're at it. If you get stuck, there are plenty of 10 year olds who can help you. Then, after accomplishing those two simple goals, in between the bravado, mix in a coherent argument. Granted, I'm not expecting much, but at least make an attempt.

It's ok to poke fun and make small musings from a mispelled word or typo here and there, it doesn't faze me, nor does it faze me that I pretty much came in here and in a hurry did quick work of everything that you held sacred and believed it. Now you are straightened out in your beliefs, as shaken as you probably are, down to your inner core.

Yes, we will always have a running beachnut, going around and blaming muslims or al qaeda terrorists and the like, people that will always be a lemming or a shill and be very scared such as the beachnuts of the world, but that's another discussion of paranoia and delusions at work.

do you understand that blacksmithing is a forging process, do you know the difference between a forging process and a small fire under control that isn't being fed constantly with air/gas and fuels?

Nope, just proves how little you know about materials (and economics). Thanks for repeating it for the "lurkers".

I bet that if the NIST said that the towers collapsed because the flux capacitor in the planes exploded, you guys would buy it, no doubt

What the hell are you talking about? Don't forget you talking to an iron worker that volunteers at the first iron works in America.

Stop the BS. Even ancient blacksmiths knew you're full of crap.
