I don't know when the top guys show up Bob. NIST just taking the report on the Twin Towers 'up to the point of collapse' should be enough to tell anybody there was a huge cover up. The NIST report on WTC7 is blown out of the water altogether. Is it true that NIST is now not trusted in the engineering community around the world ?
I was sort of hoping their A team would show up. But you get what you get, I really can't find anyone in the industry or commercial market that backs and embraces the NIST report anymore, not on the internet or in real life.
I mean, even my conservative friends suspect that the government lied and/or are hiding facts.
Seems rather crazy that people still accept the government's word on something - especially when it comes to 9/11 and the wtc when a simple and old fashioned keroscene heater, with it's thin gauged steel sheets, gets warm to the touch, but never hot enough to warp or be damaged
yet that same steel managed to warp, bend, misalign and fail to support when high grade, hot rolled steel girders and support beams failed under lower, much lower and less constant temperatures
sure i could through out the old things like, my fireplace grate never melts, my weber grill never melts, my wood burning ben franklin stove never melted, my jet engines never melted, but those are old news and no shills could or will ever be able to explain those items
they are steel anomalies to these people, steel just should always fail due to fire, they know so because the NIST told them so and the government would never lie to them, that's hopw they think and act, as silly as it sounds.
they just can't seem to grasp steel and heat. fire and temperature
they can't even explain why the aluminum slats on the exterior of the building, where the fire, heat and smoke exited the wtc's, why that thin gauged aluminum fascia was never melted or harmed, yet rugged steel was cooked through and through
just makes you roll your eyes and laugh and yes, no companies that need things tested from a reliability, technical, strategic or warranty point of view can or will trust the word of the NIST any longer.
Even underwriter's labratory, U/L, everyone has seen that, is distancing themselves from their association with the NIST, because the NIST has become politicized
