Merged So there was melted steel

I've seen evidence and reports of high temperatures, I don't doubt that.

What evidence have you seen?

I heard a report of a fright train in a tornado report, strange no one came out to disprove that either.

I don't understand. Someone was reporting a freight train in a tornado? What point are you trying to make?

What would you expect, it's not really all that important how people describe things, especially if it really has no significance.

No idea what you're talking about here.

I don't care either way.

You seem to care a lot, since you keep posting here.

You only think I need this. I don't believe in ghosts or UFOs. I just don't think it's likely.

Are you suggesting that it's as likely to find melted steel in the WTC rubble pile as it is to see ghosts or UFOs? Why do you think melted steel would be such an unlikely event?

There's lots of evidence against it.

Like what?

I just ask for proof and can't believe anyone would bother covering it up (like you do). Why do you need there to be molten steel?

I don't need there to be. I just think it's likely, given the numerous reports, eyewitness accounts, evidence of high temperatures, and no accounts or evidence to the contrary.

You still haven't explained why you think it's unlikely.

Just as we do not know if the reports of molten steel in fires (and specifically in this fire) are true or not, we know only that no solidified , previously molten blobs of steel have been displayed as having been found and that there are NO reports that they were despite the hundreds of personell on site from day one.

Yes, there is a report. I've posted one a couple of times in this thread.

Furthermore, there are no reports contradicting the reports of melted steel. No one ever has come forward and said, "I'm not sure what everyone's talking about. I never saw melted steel, nor did I hear anyone talk about it."

However, if you wish to invent reasons why none have been displayed, other than that which would support the null hypothesis, feel free to let your imagination run rampant. Just don't expect people who use reason and logic to assume your paranoid fantasy to be more probable.

Why, in your mind, would taking countless reports of molten steel at face value be a "paranoid fantasy" ? What would be so unusual about melted steel in the WTC rubble pile?

There is that niggling issue of how molten anything in the rubble fires indicates anything as to the cause of the collapses in the first place...........??

What does this have to do with determining whether there was melted steel or not?

I have seen eye witness reports that they were military planes ? Were they ?

You mean the holograms generated by technology that did not not exist then, and does not exist now?

The fact that the technology did and does not exist doesn't seem to worry the truthers in their fantasy bubble.

oh and so what if someone saw molten metal after a fire in buildings that had a lot of metal in them?

what on earth is that supposed to prove?

Now you're just playing games. There is no real evidence that the molten metal reported is molten steel. It could have been, it could not have been. You could prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the metal was steel, and it would mean nothing other than simply ANOTHER way to maintain this debate and some kind of rhetorical gymnastics.

The point everybody is making is SO WHAT?. How would melted steel be evidence that the collapses were anything other than the commonly-held narrative suggests?

You dance around this question like a ballerina ergo!

I think I can answer that:

"Something something thermite."

They don't have all the details worked out. Give them a break, it's only been twelve years!

Why would I need to do that?

Indeed. Why do you guys keep denying there was melted steel? What's it to you?

Yes, there is a report. I've posted one a couple of times in this thread.
A highly ambiguous and unsubstantiated piece on display at the 911 memorial. Is that what you refer to.

Furthermore, there are no reports contradicting the reports of melted steel. No one ever has come forward and said, "I'm not sure what everyone's talking about. I never saw melted steel, nor did I hear anyone talk about it."

Wow! How utterly specious can you get? There have been many others who witnessed the many other fires for which the reports of molten steel were given yet no reports from those witnesses saying, "I'm not sure what everyone's talking about. I never saw melted steel, nor did I hear anyone talk about it." So according to your logic then, those reports of molten steel must be taken as true and thus molten steel is completely normal in large fires and thus there is nothing in particular to investigate further wrt to such reports at the WTC rubble fires.

Why, in your mind, would taking countless reports of molten steel at face value be a "paranoid fantasy" ? What would be so unusual about melted steel in the WTC rubble pile?

THAT would not be a paranoid fantasy, but that, we both know, is not what you are doing. You wish to portray molten steel as anomolous and therefore indicative of some other factor that must have been in play and then stretch that into a demolition fantasy for the WTC 1, 2 + 7 (of course this assumes that #3, 4, 5 ,6 were inconsequential)

However you cannot show that molten steel IS anomolous, at least not so far as the only evidence to its existance you have so far, witness statements, since that happens often enough in other fires.

What does this have to do with determining whether there was melted steel or not?

The existance or non-existance of molten steel begs the question of 'so what?'. It is a logical extension of any query concerning molten steel.
