The melted steel was in the debris fires that lasted 3 months after 9/11.
If this is true, then how did the rescue workers stay alive while
climbing all over the top of the debris pile?

your point being?
Is it your argument that they couldn't have seen what they say they saw because it would be hot?
Again heat tends to rise. It is going to be far hotter over a heat source then beside it unless there is something directing the heat in the lateral direction.
So it is not impossible for them to be standing within visual distance of a river of flowing steel and not get burned.
Again, you can find pictures and videos all over the place of workers in foundrys standing within feet of molten metals and not having much of a problem.
Well beach et all heres another example for ya.

Notice at the begining of this vid a guy standing in a tshirt and no sleeves within a few feet of the molten steel.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=je2kVIrIoPk
at the 3:10 mark, 2 guys with tshirts pouring the steel about 3 feet away
at 4:10 there are 3 of them within 3 feet of the molten steel wearing t shirts
at 6:13 one of these guys standing directly in front of the flow puts his blue jean covered leg out into thr path of the flow about 3 feet away.
Notice they didn't burst into flames. Weren't running around screaming they were burning.
No protective equipment other then a face shield and gloves.
So what is so hard to understand here about them saying they saw flowing steel and didn't get burned or hurt in any way?
Beach you're confused..I didn't say there was molten steel..HE DID. On camera..in front of a whole bunch of people..in april of 2002.
So either he is wrong about what he saw or he is lying then or now.
Distance is protection..very good..so how is seeing this flowing river of steel from a distance not possible then? Do you think they were naked? standing right in the steel?
You are attempting to dispute me but all you are doing is impeach Robertson because these were HIS WORDS not mine.
A large pool of molten metal is said by many to exist in the basement of the WTC. Not only are there zero photographs of anything that looks like a large pool of molten metal in the basement of the WTC, instead there are pictures such as the one attached to this message.
Human beings were walking all over the pile in the early days after the attacks. If a few stories below them was a roiling, boiling pot of steel, they'd have died rather quickly in this position. Obviously they are not dead.
None of these videos depicts a person standing directly above an
acre-sized pit of molten steel, as has been suggested.
Instead, you see them quite alive, standing there, passing buckets
of debris from one to another. Sadly, I saw these people on many days
with my own eyes. They got lungs full of dust, but they didn't die
from being cooked above a 3000 degree fire.
Lexi,
How do you think the molten metal got into the basement and what do you think was fuelling it ?
gravity and topography of the site.
couldn't tell you what is is since no one bothered to test it and find out what it was. Obviously it could have been numerouis materials. Or simply a figment of all those people imagination. Maybe the fumes from the site made them confused enough to see stuff.
So why are you going on about molten steel ?
If this is true, then how did the rescue workers stay alive while
climbing all over the top of the debris pile?
Why did these people choose molten steel? Why not molten metal or molten iron or molten something. All of them said molten steel including the lead engineer of the wtc. These people obviously thought what they saw was unusual. An anomaly. Something of note. If it was something they expected to see they would not sound so shocked to have seen it.
Does that mean it was steel, no. But it was something out of sort in their minds and should not have been ignored or written off as an illusion. Especially considering if it was steel as these people beleived, the fires do not explain its presence there. If it wasn't then it wasn't and move along.
Just to clarify, where did Leslie Robertson say molten steel ?
he said LIKE"a little river of steel flowing"...does unmolten steel flow like a river?
Your picture is not showing people standing directly over a pit of molten metal is it. It is showing a picture of people on a pile of debris several stories thick between them and whatever people were seeing.
Thats distance and insulation from the heat. Not too mention, if the heat was too much they just move..they aren't stuck there.
Perhaps you haven't seen people standing on the edge of active volcanos spewing molten lava. They aren't dead or cooked unless they do something stupid.
Irregardless there are written and verbal report on the news of peoples boots melting while walking on the pile.
If you think people can't live above the pile then you forget there were people alive above the huge steel weakening fires in the towers talking to 911 operators. They weren't cooked.
Lexi,
If you were walking down the road with a friend and he/she saw some dog crap on the path and said "that looks like chocolate ice cream " would you eat it ?
No i would tell him it pick it up and enjoy. I'm a strawberry guy myself.
"On the edge of a volcano" is not the same thing as "directly above a volcano."
