More women have come out with allegations over the weekend. Is this one of those where there's smoke there's fire things? Or a bunch of frustrated old broads making stuff up?

The latter of course, they are aging out of being the eye candy on fox news and it isn't like they were ever their for their mind of views.

I'm inclined to believe that Roger was a hound dog and sexual harasser decades ago when it was less unacceptable. I suspect that his libido probably diminished greatly when he turned 70 in 2010, and, for that reason among many, I am skeptical of Gretchen Carlson's claims.

There's a place in town where the old men gather to play petanca. I've noticed young women making a point of not passing by, or crossing to the far side of the wide avenue to pass inconspicuously. These are all guys in their 60s and 70s, perhaps one or two older.

In Other News: The other day, could've sworn an old lady was hitting on me. I'm not ready for this. Why only yesterday...

Well, the same can be said for the male eye candy on most news shows, whether anchors, correspondents, feature reporters or whatnot. They hire for looks, obviously. I doubt that many male anchors have been laid across the casting couch, though. Or asked to show up for an interview in a thong. Seems that overly good looking guys have that "newsy" credibility thing going for them.

Having read "The Loudest Voice In The Room" a couple of years ago, the charges are not much of a surprise.

The thing is, Roger treats many of the people he likes in a creepy way. Although it is a different sort of creepy with men. And much more common with women.

While the evidence is insufficient for me to draw a conclusion, there is indeed evidence, not merely imagination. It's a good idea to think these things through before playing the skeptic card by the way.

Because it's fun to speculate, even to practice inference given limited information. But I suspect when the facts come in, most will reevaluate their inferences. No matter their current opinions and stances, most here could tell you what it would take to change their minds.

Unlike a CT or deep-believer forum.

Precisely like a deep-believer forum - just political biases rather than something more clearly empirical.

I've been around this forum for years and there is not much rationality or skepticism. Sad to see the lack so blatantly expressed in these snark feeding frenzies.
