For example, there are very few social psychologists that will support Trump (a fact). But MBAs, that education would do very little to prevent one from joining the Trump cult.

Van Susteren has always been hard-line Fox Conservative. On election night in 2012 she was the first mouthpiece to steer them towards the "Not Conservative Enough" platform and complain dismissal. Prior to that, the anchors and commentators were discussing for several hours where "we" (yes, they were actually using the personal pronoun, dropping any facade of neutrality) went wrong and strategies to re-engage, for instance, with the Hispanic vote. A couple of hours later Greta's segment came on and she started preaching where they wound up going.... "Naaaah, Romney was a weak conservative. A candidate further to the right is what we need to motivate the core right wingers."
And I hate to bring looks into it, but I do have to agree. They have so much eye candy on Fox that if you look at "hottest Fox babes" articles, they mix and match from about 20 different names. They're all hired for their looks. The chance of a horn-dog going after Van Susteren assumes that the other twenty all said no and it was getting close to closing time.

That was part of my point - but it is not just the news shows - it also applied to the talk shows, the game shows, the comedy and variety shows (and the plotted shows, but to a lesser extent). In my research (continuing a line that was initiated in the 60's by a gentlemen who did a book which I have not re-read in twenty plus years that collected materiel from magazines of all sorts that sexualized the ads and content -and we are speaking of Redbook, Ladies Home Journal and the like as well as other...) Yeah, I think you missed the part where he could probably get some through normal channels but enjoys the pressuring, manipulating and bullying. I knew a guy in Hong Kong who was drop-dead gorgeous. He also had a reputation for not being able to keep it in his pants, which I think leads a lot of these guys to thinking they're just "over-sexed" or "sex addicts". The guy in HK, could literally walk to the next corner and get flirted with or offers from at least three women en route. But he was canned for sexual harassment because he literally chased one of his assistants around the conference room table, grabbing at her clothes trying to get them off.
It wasn't any lack of attention/affection from the other sex. It was a totally different set of drivers.
