September is a good time for Stundie nominations

http://www.rollitup.org/spiritualit...03-i-am-christ-george-manuel.html#post9658155

Jesus says here "And I will write on him My NEW NAME!"

I was born as George Manuel Oliveira in 1985 and this is My "new" Name. George means Farmer. Manuel means God is with us. And Oliveira means Olive tree. So My full Name, George Manuel Oliveira means Farmer God is with us Olive tree. And My initials are GMO and GMO stands for Genetically Modified Organism. But here's the kicker, GMO backwards is OMG and everyone and their mother knows OMG stands for O My God. And My last Name, Oliveira means Olive tree and that's in the Bible too, I will show it to you now. (I got My last Name from My dad, obviously.)

How dare you trick me into verifying my claim!

"Another tactic is to ask what temperature would the LEM Clubhouse be or the astronaut's suit or whatever. Those are trick questions. The temperatures would vary, but to measure it would require an actual presence of the above objects on the moon."

The madly obsessed Gort from his DIF rant room echo chamber. Apparently it is a trick question to ask for more information. Pffff those pesky questions:jaw-dropp

I'm wondering how they measured the temperature of the Sun, did they sneak in at night?

That whole thread is nothing but Gort quoting the thread proving that he doesn't understand any of the science behind any of it and then agreeing with Alexis of all people about his "theories" about radio inpenetrability of the magnetosphere and impossible space travel. He makes it very clear that he constantly has his fingers stuck in his ears unless you say something he already agrees with. God forbid he might learn something. It is actually quite funny to watch especially when he throws in the extra insults in his reasons for editing. Must be a very angry person. Also kind of sad that someone could be so willfully ignorant.

Before they hit the ban button I had him on ignore. The thread made much more sense that way.

Cluesforum is on top of the tragedy in Nigeria:

Unfortunately, I can't pinpoint a good dumb passage that's Stundie material. There's plenty of stupid stuff there, but it's much too broad and long-winded to be neatly packaged in the Stundie format. For example, Shack doesn't seem to understand that fifty is a common number to use for the purposes of rounding, or making comparisons to another number. Those articles aren't literally saying that precisely fifty people, no more, no less, have been killed in all those shootings.

Also, they have a tendency to post smiley faces in lieu of actual arguments a lot of the time. They just quote a line from the article, put a smiley next to it, and there we go, whatever was alleged in the line (no matter how reasonable) has now been debunked. Someone else noted that they did this a lot with the Kenya shooting as well. It seems to be a pattern, doesn't it? It needs a name. I'm going to refer to it as "argumentum ad smiley" from now on. Next time you don't feel like responding to a point with an argument or logical reasoning, just post a smiley.

Clever Simon also says that 9/29 is an especially appropriate date for a school massacre in Nigeria. Any ideas what he's thinking about there?

Are palindromic dates suspicious or something?

9 2 9
There was 9 1 1 or two ones and a nine

Now its two nines and a two....
<< spooky music>> think about it

^No, no you're doing it wrong. 2+9=11, so 9/29=9/11. They just flaunt that stuff in our faces all the time you know.

It's funny, I've been involved in many military and law enforcement related events -and never, ever did anyone give a **** about synchronizing the number of the date with anything.

All you gotta do is talktalk

Oh thank the lord some people are thinking out of the box, or in this case in one.

DIF user talktalk has come up with an ingenious plan to save us all in the event of floods or chemical attacks thanks to a dream he had:

http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1061760018&postcount=1

I ran outside and pulled 4 plastic bins ( some are large green and some are grey), inside my house front room, i then went to my car and grabbed rubber from the window screen and because these bins have a pre made groove it slotted onto the top of the bin perfectly and when clamped shut it was then a watertight, airtight and leakproof capsule.

if there is a flood you will float instantly to the top. if there is a chem attack you will be protected.
if you cannot fit into one then join two together and use rubber has a gasket and use nuts and bolts to tighten shut.

I for one can see absolutely no problem whatsoever with locking conspiracy theorists in air tight containers and they should be encouraged to do this.

An excellent idea. The sealed capsule ensures there are no annoying..................leakages to inconvenience neighbours, after the air runs out, and the whole residue can be easily transported for examination when someone misses the CT'r. Indeed the container should be easily cleaned for re-use.

I applaud this new innovation. :D

Of course you would say that!
