Breaking story.

“Two properties belonging to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in Los Angeles and Miami were searched Monday by federal Homeland Security Investigations agents and other law enforcement as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation by federal authorities in New York, two law enforcement officials told The Associated Press.

“It’s not clear whether Combs was the target of the investigation. The officials were not authorized to publicly discuss details of the investigation and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity.”

Could be, or someone close to him. It's not the first run in with the law. They brought out the big guns for the search warrant raid. Guess have to wait and see.

Seeing mentions that he’s left the US in his private jet for [varying places] which has no extradition treaty. No news outlet source yet, though.

Hmm, this could be a bastardisation of the story from TMZ which has video of Combs walking around at the Miami Executive airport after the raid.

They also say he isn’t on the run, or rather, they can’t prove he’s on the run, just that his jet is now in Antigua.

They usually have the main jurisdiction with sex trafficking on the federal level.

So far we just have two anonymous informants to the Associated Press saying this is part of a sex trafficking investigation.

Today,

“Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyer said Tuesday that the searches of the rapper’s Los Angeles and Miami properties by federal authorities in a sex trafficking investigation were “a gross use of military-level force” and that Combs is “innocent and will continue to fight” to clear his name.”

https://apnews.com/article/74a31ab6d1778ef84f1b97e7578dc906

““There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations,” Dyer said. “Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

“Combs’ sons, Justin and Christian “King” Combs, were handcuffed during the raid at their father’s residence in Los Angeles.”

So what's the over/under? Is Homeland looking to burnish its rep by raiding a retired rapper who was big in the 90s? Or has Puff Daddy leveraged his slowly evaporating wealth into a new line of business? The Epstein bust has to have left a lot of punters thirsty, with a lot special funds burning holes in a lot of special bank accounts.

You ever notice how it's always these people running the sex trafficing? Men.

CNN has surveillance video of him attacking his then girlfriend in a hotel in 2016. I have to admit, after clicking through the "graphic images" warning with a "just show me" attitude, I was nauseated by what I saw. He grabs her, throws her to the ground, then kicks her twice and starts to drag her back to his room.

Once again, I'm mystified and angered how it takes so long for something like this to surface. Someone knew about it in 2016 and it's only coming to light now? Like that recent news item about the upside-down flag. Many people knew about it at the time but only now is it an issue?

Does everything have to go viral before any legal action is taken? Do they wait until there's a certain level of Reddit or TwiX rage?

It is disgusting. The way he comes after her wearing nothing but a towel suggests to me that she was attempting to sneak away while he was sleeping or in the shower.

I could be wrong, but it seems the problem is that the people who should have immediately notified the police chose not to. It makes me wonder if there wasn't bribery involved. But then it could be just good, old-fashioned human callousness.

I might have dismissed it as having been missed by security when it happened - but this is eight years ago, so someone saved this video.

It's also possible that the police were notified immediately, but were fobbed off by the participants. Or, were notified immediately but didn't do anything about it.

There's many possibilities. It's even possible that a case has been built and is waiting to go before the courts (and someone has decided to get the footage to the general public to speed things up).
