Merged Sean “Diddy” Combs - sex trafficker?

The most confusing thing about this whole case is that he actually has supporters who congregate outside the court and chant in his favour. Regardless of whether he's innocent or guilty of any of the charges, he's already demonstrated he's a scumbag (by beating up his girlfriend on camera), so this makes no sense to me.

Michael Jackson had supporters when he was on trial for child abuse, but they actually thought he was innocent of everything. Combs's supporters KNOW he's a violent domestic abuser, and they still support him? I don't get it.
MAGA? Seems to fit their idea of a “great American”.

*OJ's supporters wink and nod to each other*

I just heard his lawyer saying it was a victory for Sean. Some victory! Bail denied and facing a decade in the slammer.

Ever listen to gangsta rap? In New York I hear it all the time; blaring from passing cars, loudly playing on the street, subway or in city transit buses. It's very sexist and violent. And popular. :(

I don't get how transporting sex workers isn't sex trafficking, but I'm no lawyer, and wasn't on the jury.
The difference is this:

I'm a pimp in Michigan and say to one of my hoes, "Hey, let's go down to Ohio and we can rake in some dough!". She says, "Sure! Let's do it!".
That is transporting for the purposes of prostitution.

I'm a pimp in Michigan and say to one of my hoes, "Hey $&$@#, get in the van, we are going down to Ohio and you are gonna make me some money or I'm gonna break your legs!"
That is trafficking.

The trafficking charges hinged on whether or not the two women involved in this case were forced into this or not. I'm not sure about the other woman because I wasn't following the case close enough, but with Cassie, as soon as her texts came in as evidence the prosecution was cooked on the charge of trafficking her. Which isn't to say she was never trafficked, maybe she was, but with that evidence there was no way the prosecution could prove that beyond a reasonable doubt.

His hubris is over the top. I wouldn't believe him if he told me my name.
