Most of the data we have is in the memories of people on this board, links to other boards and scattered messages. As I suspect Menard will continue to try to scam people it might be helpful to bring up a 'Guide to understanding Menardism'

Don't forget to include the laws of Menardian Logic. I defined the first one ages ago.

Menard's first law - 'Cause and effect are linked, but it's all effect's fault'

I'm sure there are others.

If you want Menards biggest blunders here they are.

I am not governed because I do not engage in governable actions. If I engage in those actions I would accept lawful governance.

Never have I said that when engaging in governable acts that I am free from government.

Menard claims to be able to withdraw his consent to be governed yet here he clearly admits he cannot withdraw his consent to governable actions.

Government legislation aside, what else is there left to withdraw his consent from?

In the lull, I offer a little light reading.

Unfortunately I cannot post any links, but a 'Google' search with:

Woman thumps bible to fight tickets

will identify an Edmonton Sun news article on Ms. Catherine Flamond, who is challenging a number of traffic tickets. She was found driving an automobile with a homemade paper license plate indicating this was her "Ecclesiastical pursuit chariot".

Ms. Flamond is part of the Church of the Ecumenical Redemption International ["CERI"], an Edmonton area 'pot church' that also adopts various Freeman motifs. Their speciality is unilateral notices on government and court officials. There are some posted on the Church's homepage "All Creator's Gifts".

CERI members also use the rather unusual tactic of filing private Criminal Code informations against government officials, police officers, and court personnel, usually alleging breach of s. 176: “obstructing or violence to or arrest of officiating clergyman”.

The leader of this group is a "minister :Edward-Jay-Robin: Belanger:" They never capitalize "minister" - I don't know why. My understanding is that minister Belanger is a frequent customer of the Edmonton area courts, though sadly most of his interactions have not led to reported decisions.

A lucky exception is:

Kilini Creek/Patricia Hills Area Landowners v. Lac Ste. Anne (County of) Subdivision and Development Appeal Board, 2001 ABCA 92

I particularly like paragraph 2, where the now deceased Justice McClung comments:

Reverend Belanger demands that I take an oath (for his use) that acknowledges the supremacy of God and the Charter of Rights. I have declined this opportunity.

Chaetognath.

The Church of the Ecumenical Redemption International is a Christian denomination that does not believe in the authority of the Canadian government and wishes to use the King James Bible as the rule of law.

Hmmm....Is that the version without the "Render unto Caesar" line?

In a June 13 letter to Edmonton Police Chief Rod Knecht, Flamond says she had her own plate — made of paper and bearing the biblical verse Rom. 11:29 — on the car, which she refers to as her “Ecclesiastical pursuit chariot.”

Menard had better wise up. He's getting left behind. His followers can only muster up a "conveyance" whereas this lady has an Ecclesiastical pursuit chariot. I propose a burn up at the lights. That'll soon sort out which is best.

I have suggested in the past that Menard's best strategy would be to become a church or cult, looks like he being left behind on the highway to crazy.

Unless they've withdrawn consent from traffic lights. Since they're still alive I'm guessing they haven't.

Here's the link for that one: http://www.canlii.org/en/ab/abca/doc/2001/2001abca92/2001abca92.html

I think you should be able to post links now, by the way - you have 15 posts.

I have missed some pages but the
wishes to use the King James Bible as the rule of law.
sounds entertaining.

The last I read about it where in Swedish legal records as tidelag, a particular Swedish crime unique in the Nordic countries.

Some claim that confessing to bestiality were just a way for suicidal Swedish people to get a formal execution with confession and forgiveness. The rest of us know better. :D

I don't think it will either.'

She should probably not use Mr. Winningham as an endorser of her little schemes either - given that he's sued the province, Federal Crown, Lethbridge police, RCMP and the Cdn Military Police for stopping his vehicle and lost badly in court.

and operates a four wheel pursuit chariot:
"Is your four wheel pursuit chariot propelled by an engine?"

"errrr....yes."

"then its a car, shall we proceed?"

"errr...........OK then."

What I'd like to know is, what exactly is she "pursuing" in that chariot of hers?

For further amusement, here is minister Catherine Edith: Flamond's declaration to now Premier Allison Redford that she is a traveller, does not drive commercially, and operates a four wheel pursuit chariot:

Somehow I have this suspicion that won't do the trick.

Chaetognath.

[ot]Okay, this has been bugging me, so I just have to ask. What in the world made you decide to use a carnivorous plankton as your nick?[/ot]

Its amazing that people don't seem to realize that the 'right to travel' refers to the right to leave an go where you will - as an andidote to the previous right of lords and others to tie people to the land and not allow them to move on, ie serfdom.

I stand by to be corrected!
