I suppose to be perfectly fair, he isn't saying he will bring in 2 billion per month, "just" 2 billion overall. Whatever that means.Menard tries out the con on some Windsor babes. New twist: after setting aside half the money he takes in and paying his salary, he expects to have one billion dollars left over with which to provide interest free loans. This means he expects to collect at least 2 billion dollars. To do so, he must collect $125 per month from at least 16,000,000 Canadians. That's half of the entire population of Canada.
I guess $250 per year from WFS members (both of them) just wasn't quite feeding his delusions of grandeur.
But, technically it would not be interest free. If you borrow $1000 you owe Menard $1000 dollars. For that privilege you have to pay Menard $125 a month which would not reduce the amount owed., he expects to have one billion dollars left over with which to provide interest free loans.
True. But your $125 Cdn gets you $2500 per month in Menard-bucks to spend on boozing it up with the ladies in Windsor. So it's still a win. But, technically it would not be interest free. According to the "logic", it would have to be Cdn, because the loans are for real property while the Menard-bucks can only be spent on necessities like food, clothing and health care.I forgot to ask, would the loans be in Canadian dollars or Menardian ones?
Ontario’s top court has legalized brothels and will allow prostitutes to have security and other staff that is specifically aimed at protecting prostitutes.
In a landmark decision Monday, the court said that prostitution is extremely dangerous work where inherent risks are multiplied by laws preventing prostitutes from working together under one roof or hiring security staff.
Commencing next year, a five-judge panel said unanimously, prostitutes in any part of the province can work legally in brothels that will be operated like ordinary businesses.
As of April 25, they can engage bodyguards or security staff.

I wonder if Ontarians can use Menard-bucks to buy some lovin?

Which reminds me, there was a landmark decision today in the Ontario Court of Appeal:

Good point well made.Gee, who would have thought a marginalized group of people could come together and use the courts to fundamentally alter how the law treats their way of earning a living? And all it took were good arguments and hard work.
Maybe Menard could take lessons from them. PoTL, anyone?

Nice camera work. Especially around the 6 minute mark.
Apparently our absent legal genius has spent some time 'thoroughly researching' why legal protests are a bad thing in a democracy:

Instead we get 8 minutes of "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if you could do this?". WOW. That sure showed us! Stop the freaking presses! This is a new version of the old ploy Menard used when he made YouTubes of he and other freemen asking strangers about their driver’s licenses.
It may have sounded good to the gullibles watching the video, but Menard was almost never around when his marks got stopped by traffic cops. And when he was around it never helped.
In that vane it would have been impressive if Bald Bobby had taken the two girls into the restaurant got them each a meal, a couple of drinks, and paid using his method.
One can’t help but think the attention starved Menard would have gotten a woody out of them casting sexy, wayward glances at him saying, “Wow, you really are something!” if he paid the check using his method!
Plus he’d have a record of somebody successfully using the method and some restaurant accepting his theory.
But just like Menard once scooted away from the cops as his drunken “freeman-on-the-land” rant was being filmed our subject has enough sense to never allow a filming of him being forced, without his consent, to wash a pile of dishes.
More word magic. Do the exact same thing but call it different and use the correct magic words and suddenly that changes everything!Apparently our absent legal genius has spent some time 'thoroughly researching' why legal protests are a bad thing in a democracy:
