Looking at the USA from the outside, it's hard to not think the nation is being torn asunder.

Don't worry. That thing has been screensaved in a thousand different locations. She won't be able to whitewash this.

Is this what Sharron Angle meant when she said that if the elections didn't work they should turn to "second amendment remedies?"
 
I'm following this on the radio while at work.
The perpetrator his in custody, but there's no word as to his motive yet.
People are speculating like crazy.

Just now (12:40 pm Arizona time) I'm hearing that the national news agencies are saying Rep. Gifford's is in surgery. So it's unclear if she was one of the fatalities.

This is so sickening.
 
Arizona local station reported she has passed.

A lot of conflicting reports here.

He put the gun directly to the Congresswoman's head and shot several times according to eye witnesses. That at least puts her as one of if not the target.

Why is it, and no offense I do find you one of the more reasonable right wingers here, but why is it most of the right wingers on this board are so reluctant to admit the rhetoric is evidence?

Do I need specific evidence on this shooter to say there is a high likelihood the right wing rhetoric like, "Second Amendment remedies" and Palin's crosshairs map is going to turn out to have contributed to this incident?

The fundraiser was to shoot pictures of her face with that m-16. Classy. Jesse Kelly was her opponent, iirc.
