Proof of Life After Death!!

Yawn. Already answered.

P.S. And don't confuse merely psychic with a psychic medium. Already covered.
And don’t you confuse what I said with what I didn’t. I didn’t say - “merely a psychic” I said - “merely a telepath”. Perhaps you’re too tired/bored to read and comprehend?

Obviously genuine psychic ability would be of far more importance than merely mind reading. It would establish there was indeed some form of life after death and we would be able to ask really important questions like – “is there a god?” If “Yes” then quickly followed by – “Which one is the real one?” Who would give a toss about new fridges and theatre tickets?

Seems I missed your earlier “answer”. Are you saying that psychic and telepathic are the same thing? Please provide a single piece of information JE has given you that he couldn’t have known by reading your mind or someone else’s.

Have you ever been personally read by John Edward?

That's like asking "How can you know there is life after death if you've never died."

It doesn't take a personal reading from the shyster to know his tricks.

What are your answers to all those questions, Resume? Betcha they are pretty similar to mine.

Here's a question for you, Resume:

Have you ever been personally read by John Edward?

We've had videos of hid performances posted up here.
Quite enough to see his techniques on display.

I'm a lurker-as you can see by my post count. And I'm not in the least bit swayed.

Not even a tiny bit.

In fact-if I did have any niggling doubts-this thread has completely dispelled them. All I've seen is goal post moving, a lot of woo and anecdotes.

No proof.

Sorry and all that

Welcome to the forums! thanks for coming out of lurk mode to give us your input.

But if you get a personal reading you will get all emotional and teary-eyed, and it’s only in that disoriented and dysfunctional state that you will see JE is genuine. ;)

Just out of curiosity, was Danielle Sibarium among those in the audience that got a reading?

I propose a simple exercise to pass the time while Robin1 is off gathering her evidence to present of life after death.

The exercise is simply to collect hot reading material on Danielle Sibarium. Bonus points for any linkage to Valerie Harper or kitchen appliances.

Yes. I know ******** when I step in it.

No, I have not. But I'm familiar with the illusions that these phonies exploit. Why aren't you?

Had to back up. Welcome.

  6. loves the Rodeo
  7. believes in angels!
And here's a picture so you can spot her in the studio audience and say "I'm getting a D....and a J or a K...no, a J....and I hear "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" in my head, are you a baseball fan? Because the spirits say you are."

Robin and/or brother, when are you going to address the following and tell us which statement was the lie, and why you lied?

As I said before, although there were a few moments that true believers might acknowledge as real, we witnessed nothing extraordinary enough to bring to this challenging forum to newly debate. Or, as my clown sister would say, there were no startlingly specific, personal, unknowable, John's trademark hits in regard to our reading or any readings we witnessed on that damn show, The View.

So you and/or your "sister" were lying about the following, is that right?

...he was successful in pinpointing personal details about some subjects that would be impossible to explain away with tricks.

What do you think all the "lurkers" think about your BS?

Having met JSfisher's Danielle Sibarium challenge in 11 minutes, I can tell you it takes far longer to transcribe the information and host the photo than it takes to find the information in the first place.

Plus I'm not getting paid like John Edwards' staff is, soooo...

You done good, but Robin1 will ignore it. She will doubly ignore it if Danielle were an actual reading target during the recording.

Thanks for the welcomes :)

On behalf of the 'lurker' community-

If they're lying about winning the tickets-surely it gives less credence to anything that's they've said before?

I mean about fridges, Valerie tickets, teeth, and whale-whatever it was (or maybe I dreamed that part about whale something).

I've seriously enjoyed the gazillion pages of this thread-made me laugh out loud at some points at the absurdity of the claims and the intractability of the OP.

I just wonder why-after the thread was dropping down the pages and 'dying a death' all of a sudden they get tickets for 'The View' (never seen it as I'm in U.K.) and it all flares up again! Attention seeking? Maybe I'm just an old cynic.

A warm welcome to another lurker. :)

Perhaps now Robin can give us an update on how many others have responded to her call for PMs supporting her position, while remaining anonymous, of course. No need to face the dreaded skeptic wrath of nonbelief. :D

Torifrog, here we have Foolmewunz admitting John Edward's reading has "a bunch of clear winners for people who believe anecdotes..."
So, he admits he knows my story is a good one and some who are inclined to believe this stuff may believe it.

He then specifically addresses the lurkers (just in case there is anyone out there being swayed by me and my stories - Heaven forbid!) and proclaims he doesn't believe the story - I MUST be lying (implied but he later on admitted that was indeed what he meant).

And so, torifrog, instead of asking me why Foolmewunz is so worried someone out there might believe (to the point of actually accusing me of LYING), you really should be asking him.

No, I asked you because you're the one who stated he said you lied to discourage lurkers from agreeing with you - and I have no idea why ANYONE would think that, unless they truly thought Foolme has some innate power over lurkers. I am fairly certain Foolme doesn't believe he has such power, but for some reason you've given it to him? Since YOU brought the claim (him stating you lied would make lurkers think twice), I want to know why YOU believe that.

ETA: Hi Zelda! Thanks for weighing in. My mobility scooter shares your moniker. Are you also red to go faster? ;)

I don't think they lied about winning the tickets, I think this suggestion that they did is yet another of Robin's attempts at humour, based on her interpretation of Foolmewunz's post as meaning that some of Edward's "hits" were so good she must be lying about them.

Don't forget we're dealing with someone whose grasp of probability is so poor that she thinks any kind of coincidence, even one as trivial as Edward mentioning fridges shortly after she bought one, must require a supernatural explanation. I think both she and her brother are genuinely mystified by the fact none of us seems impressed by the coincidence that they won tickets (at a probability of 1 in 200! gasp!) for this show after she started this thead.
