Wikipedia is an excellent source. Open it up, search for your desired subject, and once you arrive at your article, hunt down the info you need and go to its references. Check the sources for veracity, and use them as your references when back at the forums. If a claim has no reference, though, don't use it.

When used this way, the Wiki suddenly becomes far more useful.

If you want to play the willfully ignorant card then you should know that carrying a pregnancy to term has a greater relative risk of harming the mother than abortion.

If a woman is pregnant and does not want to have the child, the only 2 options that present themselves are abortion and adoption. Are you suggesting that black women are not capable of determining those are the options available to them or that they are incapable of deciding which is the correct choice for them?

Well, I suppose I could pretend to be a psychic that can read the minds of pregnant black women and divine from that how clearly they understood their options, but I won't so stop asking me to speculate on such things. If you have evidence that they are "pressured" into abortion over adoption then present it.

A woman is pretty good at figuring whether or not she is at a place in life to properly raise a child. IF she feels she can't and is denied the right to terminate the pregnancy then she ends up with a baby she doesn't want and/or can't provide for. That is generally a bad thing and a whole community full of unwanted and improperly cared for children is a disaster waiting to happen.

So, yeah NOT giving black women abortions when they feel they need them does do harm.
