Had to imagine the dearth of quotes about Palin that one would actually refer to Matt Damon as an authority on anything more substantive than whitening toothpaste.
I need to know if she really thinks dinosaurs were here 4000 years ago, that's an important...I want to know that. I really do. Because she's going to have the nuclear codes.
Since I agree with these quotes, it doesn't really deflect from my opinion of Matt Damon.

At least we know that Damon can read and construct a relevant arguement for his position. And he knows what questions to ask when assessing the intelligence of a candidate for an important position.
I agree that it is a little disturbing that someone who believes that the world is that young could blow it all away.
Damon seems brighter to me than three of the last four presidents before Obama.
Special Olympians may disagree with you there.
This doesn't bode well for JREF skeptics who, like Damon, took the quote at face value without ever deigning to authenticate the origin of the quote.
Damon does not provide any basis for his desire to ask Palin about her beliefs. Accordingly, it is unclear whether Damon's assertion stems from a mistaken belief that Palin actually made the statements attributed to her on the aforementioned internet blog.
Confirmation bias?If the vapid twit from Wasilla had not said some equally stupid craop from time to time, nobody would have taken the spoof that seriously. However, having her dead-to-rights on other charges of gross stupidity, why would anybody bother looking for the exact source of the quote that she believes in the Young Earth crap?
She likes her steak medium-well. What an ultramaroon.
| Most game (and cuts of beef) should be served as close to rare as possible otherwise it gets really tough and tasteless. There is no option on this. If you have another opinion, you are wrong. Makes me wonder if she eats what she kills. |
Medium rare suffices, but yeah, med well to well, ya may as well just grind it into burger meat.Is that true? In that case, what a savage. I have avoided piling on to this point in many of the Palin threads, but this really gets under my skin.

De gustibus non est disputandum.Argumentem ad populum.
I know it will sound elitist, but the fact that the majority of Americans prefer well-done meat only proves that in this case the majority of Americans are wrong.

Wait a second, Palin is a YEC. How did Cicero miss this fact?
ETA: Did I just write 'how did Cicero miss this fact?' Nevermind.
