I guess Rush is gonna need new bumper stickers then.
Geddy Lee will think of something.

I dislike the Olberman / O'Reilly types moreso than the Limbaugh sorts, because, for instance, O'Reilly calls his radio show the 'No Spin Zone' - and it's nothing but spin - and Olberman tries to pretend like he's not completely one-sided, but he is. At least Limbaugh doesn't pretend to be impartial.
The left wing idiots are more second tier: Mike Malloy, Randi Rhodes & Alex Jones come to mind.
No Olbermann is not the same as O'Reilly. Olbermann has his point of view, but he doesn't lie and isn't a bully.
I see you tried to discredit the videos and transcripts of Beck and Hannity by saying the source has a liberal slant. Pretty ineffective argument considering no one has accused the nation of photo shopping or faking videos and transcripts. The Nation--Now, there's an unbiased source. Next, you'll be referencing Chomsky.
I totally defer to your knowledge of Jones. I never listen to or read the man. I was going by the fact he's a regular on Prison Planet (which I also rarely read or listen to except occasionally when they overlap into Freespeech TV or Democracy Now).Woah, there, Skeptigirl. What makes you think that Alex Jones is a leftist, or even a liberal? The man has supported the Minutemen, for crying out loud. You even cite Dave Neiwert in one of your posts here, a reporter who has pointed out Infowars' knee-jerk reaction to the Missouri Information Analysis Center report on militias. Meanwhile, people like Richard Poplawski choose Infowars as their alternative media source.
I have more about Jones if you want it, in a critique of the film "Endgame". It's pretty clear from the sources he used in that video that he is not a lefty, his antipathy toward George W. Bush notwithstanding.
I gave her a shot when Air America first started but it didn't last long. Same with Malloy & RFK Jr, once I heard a few programs I turned them off.And for the record, I could never listen to Rhodes for more than a few minutes. Something about her annoyed me.
My point is that Olbermann's mistakes are not on the same level as Hannity's and Beck's. Retractions have nothing to do with it, degree or level of lunacy does.
Here's a list of 1,346 of Olbermann's guests:Who is Olbermann to bully, since all guests are carefully pre-screened to assure their views are in accord with those of Olbermann?

So admitting to being a liar is more important than whether or not you actually lie?I dislike the Olberman / O'Reilly types moreso than the Limbaugh sorts, because, for instance, O'Reilly calls his radio show the 'No Spin Zone' - and it's nothing but spin - and Olberman tries to pretend like he's not completely one-sided, but he is. KO insisted that Tim Russert approved of his fractious and fatuous program. But there is no statement by Russert to support KO's claim.
I'm looking for what you think is "stable floor" material there, and I'm having a hard time finding it, especially since your link brings up a blank page of the Daily Kos.That is right off the stable floor.

"For what it's worth, he didn't position himself publicly on this for obvious reasons, and we had had a very pleasant, very constructive "what can we do to keep our two styles from hurting each other's broadcast, or the whole organization," conversation. But Tim Russert was as supportive of what I did as anybody else at NBC, and his role on the MSNBC election coverage was voluntary and enthusiastic.

How do you know this?Russert died ashamed of KO and the tawdry direction MSNBC has taken. Brokaw, with Russert's support, probably, put an end to the disgraceful episode of KO and Matthews pretending to be election news anchors.
Does the term non sequitur mean anything to you?No, the Nation just publishes Chomsky articles that are filled with lies and nutty theories.

Are you saying that his comment that Tim Russert was supportive of him is somehow sleazy? Even if it wasn't true, and I see no evidence either way, it is hardly an attack on anybody. Has anyone at MSNBC challenged Olberman's statement? If so, where?
Surely you can do better than this.

Looking quickly over Olbermann's guest list, I don't recognize most of the names and granted his show is totally different from O'Reilly's, but Olbermann has had the following conservative guests on:
Ashcroft, John
Ken Blackwell
Tony Blair
John Boehner
Pat Buchanan 9 times
Tucker Carlson
Alex Jones (since G-K-4 says Jones is not a liberal)
