Ongoing Adventures of Kyle Rittenhouse

The altered one is also of lower resolution so it could have been done by an AI image editor, but I suspect it was done by using a "warp" function in something like Photoshop as it looks so bad.
Almost certainly not AI. It's simultaneously too sloppy on the parts it touched and leaves too much unaltered in the rest of the scene. I also suspect that the Tucker crotch warp was accidental, that whoever did the shopping hit the tool there and then either didn't even notice or said ◊◊◊◊ it, I'm not going to bother fixing that.

While I don't doubt you, how do we tell which is the shopped image? I mean, I assumed the Big Boy one was shopped too, just because it looks so ridiculous. But from the pure skeptic POV, what's our objective way of telling which is which? Finding your pic in a linkable original context would do it for me, but what to do about two pics side by side with no external validation?
Look at Tucker's pants too.

Sure, which is why I offered to point out specific flaws. But I think you could have found some of them yourself with a bit of looking.
Probably could have, but I was mostly looking for hair and face modifications on Rittenhouse, which seemed to be the most unlikely alterations. His weight didn't interest me; people gain weight and it is not something I would think less of him for, so it was off radar, even though it was the biggest tip off. Same with Tucker's smile, I wasn't even looking.

That's no longer an issue for the AI editors.

I think my AI's edits are a tad more subtle...

That altered image is worrying, I thought I’d drop it into some of the tools that say they can detect AI content, they didn’t detect the edits. I had the AI put in the clown nose as I didn’t want there to be a chance of it being re-distributed as a real image, glad I did now as otherwise it seems pretty much impossible to detect the AI edits.

Nope. The fact that he went to a protest to shoot people, and killed people, adds to the determination that he looks like a murderer. Legally, he may not be a murderer, but morally he is. He was only acquited because he's a white person living in a white supremacist government.
