No, I'm pretty sure it is impossible for the cops to have lied at any point about any thing. They are incorruptible and would never exaggerate or hide evidence. Well, maybe in Baltimore, but not in Rio.

I am pleased that the UTSI is now on the case. Soon we will have a definitive answer. Presumably they will expedite the forensics so we aren't kept waiting.

Lochte has been suspended by the USOC for 10 months and cannot compete in the World Championships July 2017. The other 3 will also be punished but it is still undetermined.

Also, I forget to mention long ago that when Bentz testified to police he said that they had plenty of cash but decided to give $50 to the guards and it was accepted. This explains how they paid for the taxi back to Olympic Village after being "robbed at gunpoint".
