Sure, Tony, sure. Keep telling yourself that.
I will since it is a fact.
I will note your total hypocrisy over being outraged over that but not Trump's much worse actions.
Sure, Tony, sure. Keep telling yourself that.
<giggle> Did you just cite Fox News? The Fake News capital of the world?
Quite ironic.
Richard Burr asked for an endorsement by Comey of the Senate Intelligence Committee’s integrity and got an endorsement of Mueller’s instead. That has to sting.
No, that shows again what Comey is.
Fascinating when you put this post up against what Obama and Hillary got away with. This whole thing is just stunning. I cannot imagine any other time in American history with any other president where that kind of direct action would not have resulted in impeachment.
They knew enough to keep Reagan waaaaaaay the **** away from Iran-Contra.
I know the usual suspects will try to defend this, but imagine what would be happening right now if Obama or Hillary were the ones confronting Comey that way.
This is a big moment. Our country may be in serious trouble if Republicans continue to place Party and self interest before country. Think about the precedent being set.
Just imagine what would have happened if the Attorney General had met in private with the husband of someone under investigation by the FBI.
Oh, wait...
See, it's not even your current outrage that I mind. It's your complete hypocrisy and ignorance about the kind of stuff that's been going on for a long time.
Obama and Hillary got away with confronting Comey that way?Fascinating when you put this post up against what Obama and Hillary got away with.
Someone who knows that Republicans don't really want to get the bottom of this?
Obama and Hillary got away with confronting Comey that way?
I'm pretty sure we're at the bottom!![]()
Trump is alot of things, some of em bad, but you abject haters are gonna have admit that he isn't guilty of any crimes as of yet.
Comey has given his opinion of Trump's awkwardness and his lack of understanding "procedure" and nothing else.
According to Comey's prepared statement, he did say it three times to Trump.

1) January 6 Briefing
"In that context, prior to the January 6 meeting, I discussed with the FBI’s leadership team whether I should be prepared to assure President-Elect Trump that we were not investigating him personally. That was true; we did not have an open counter-intelligence case on him. We agreed I should do so if circumstances warranted. During our one-on-one meeting at Trump Tower, based on PresidentElect Trump’s reaction to the briefing and without him directly asking the question, I offered that assurance."
2) January 27 Dinner
"[Trump] said he was considering ordering me to investigate the alleged incident to prove it didn’t happen. I replied that he should give that careful thought because it might create a narrative that we were investigating him personally, which we weren’t, and because it was very difficult to prove a negative."
3) March 30 phone call:
"I explained [to Trump] that we had briefed the leadership of Congress on exactly which individuals we were investigating and that we had told those Congressional leaders that we were not personally investigating President Trump."
... and it was triggered by Trump's "tapes" tweet!Comey asked a friend to give details of memos to a reporter because he believed that may prompt the appointment of a special council.
Anyone notice that Comey voice sounds almost exactly like Alec Baldwin's?
