The good news is that they will only alienate the dumb ones.
Damn "knee-jerk liberal press" --Bill Clintondamn liberal media...
"Lipstick on a pig?" Now you know how it is; lipstick on a pig is a common expression in politics. But coming at this moment in the campaign it's either intentional or a really foolish boner.
Unbelievable. The Republicans have managed to grab the mantle of political correctness from the Democrats. Once more, common English expressions are actual super secret coded sexism.
Well played.
Thanks.
55 days to go. Can it continue to get dumber? I think we all know the answer to that.
It's "niggardly", with an "a". I think if he used your spelling in an ad there might be trouble...It's a non issue. However, if McCain uses the word niggerdly or the phrase "call a spade a spade" his campaign will be over.

A Piggish Debate

Last October, asked about Sen. Hillary Clinton's health care plan, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., was blunt.
McCain said Clinton's proposal was “eerily” similar to the ill-fated plan she devised in 1993.
“I think they put some lipstick on a pig,” he said, “but it’s still a pig.”
A common expression, right?
McCain surely wasn't calling Clinton a pig.

Not nearly enough. I'm salivating at the prospect of using the word, though I don't get many chances to call someone stingy. Why? I dunno. You wouldn't think inmates would be the most charitable persons in the world.how often has niggardly been used in the past 30 years?
Sauce for the goose and all that...Unbelievable. The Republicans have managed to grab the mantle of political correctness from the Democrats. Once more, common English expressions are actual super secret coded sexism.

Regardless, the next change I get to use it, I'm going to do so. Hopefully in front of a black.
Famu?
edit: wtf? I put it in all caps... twice.
RedTail- do you mean that the FAMU football team is not literate? Or what? Why would it be important?
Been there done that. It's "niggardly", with an "a". I think if he used your spelling in an ad there might be trouble...
