Obama Derangement Syndrome

Most of the GOP-ers who have responded have thanked intelligence and special ops, but hardly mention Obama. The interesting exception was Dick Cheney who lavishly praised Obama for having the wisdom to continue the programs started under the Bush Admin.

Chris Christie was one of the few that actually made a point of giving Obama credit. Most GOPers either congratulated Obama for following Bush, thanked Bush and then mentioned Obama, or, in Palins case didn't mention Obama at all.

As a poster said in the comments of another site I was looking at: They seem to think if they dont mention Obama no-one will draw a connection. Which is about as mature as not congratulating the President I guess.

Anytime some nutter tries to give undue credit to Bush, show them these gems:

To be fair to them, both Pawlenty and Romney thanked Obama without any noticeable partisan comments.

Yeah, it's amazing how Bush caught Bin Laden during the Obama recession which was brought on after Clinton missed the clues of 9/11.

What do you expect from people who post on the former Presidents facebook?
I am assuming someone culls out the hate posts.

At least President Bush said
I congratulated him and the men and women of our military and intelligence communities who devoted their lives to this mission.

I wouldn't expect otherwise. Initially I thought it was a like page a random Bush lover created and not his actually page.
 
Speaking of ODS, I posted a news article on my Facebook page about how cool & collected President Obama was all weekend (WH correspondents' dinner, touring tornado damage in the South, scuttled Shuttle launch, etc), yet he didn't once drop any hints as to the magnitude of military mission being carried out to take out Osama bin Laden. This one guy got onto my FB page and commented that such behavior made President Obama symptomatic of "a sociopath".

Haters are going to hate no matter what :rolleyes:
 
A girl at work today said that, "I have a bad way of thinking about the future." When asked to clarify, she said, "I hope in the future my kids get the day off of school to celebrate Obama's assassination."

I thought she was so nice, but that's just wrong.

Very sure. She walked in when we were talking about Obama specifically, and she had said 'Obama' several times before. Also, right after someone said, "What?" And I responded with, "She just said she wants someone to murder our president." She just shrugged.
