Patton Oswalt is a funny comedian.

However, he played "Spence" on "The King of Queens."

"The King of Queens" blew chunks.

His co-star Kevin James was never funny in his life and only has a career because he's friends with Ray Romano, who is also not funny yet had a series that destroyed the cherished funny memories of Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle.

Jerry Stiller was last funny some 50 years ago. Since he stopped playing off his wife he has concluded that loud is, necessarily, funny. It is not.

Ergo: No matter how funny Patton Oswalt may seem at the moment, one should look at his track record and ask, "Is that really funny, or is that the result of a thousand monkeys throwing their droppings at the screen?"


FTR: He's funny and I congratulate him for getting a few years of residuals for selling his soul to TV, because, given the chance, I would, too.

ETA: Okay, I had a tenth of a chance, but since I don't do standup (Can you believe a classic Borscht-Belt once asked me for more of my material so I could tour with him? Neither did I, blaming his Alzheimers. :( ) it didn't happen.

I love how the birthers believe this huge fraud was perpetrated, Obama spent millions to conceal the release of the certificate, Hawaii is covering for him, ect. but apparently they can't bother to use real paper, pen and ink to fake the long form. :boggled:

They could open up a tour to go right into the building and right into the file cabinet and they would still say it was a fake. Why did they show it? I am confused and disappointed
 
I facepalmed when I saw this on the news here, as much as I dislike Obama, he really should've just let this one rest instead of re-kindling the flames. Did he really expect people to accept any kind of evidence? There's seriously no pleasing birthers. If he were to give them the original document, they'd claim it was forged. If you provide a scan, it's photoshopped. If you provide a PDF, it's tampered.

Doesn't matter. I take this as Obama putting all his cards on the table when it comes to the birther issue. The only thing the birthers were holding against him was released and If the idiots don't want to accept it then, oh well. They will just appear more fringe and coincidently any politician that aligns themselves with the birthers will look all the more foolish because of it. It's a political trump card (pun partly intended). ;)
