Because the plane crashed there the NTSB has reported by tail numbers and location where each plane crashed.

You need no serial numbers to tell you where your plane crashed unless you lost your whole squadron out in the jungle and you find parts.

RADAR transponders are not needed to track planes. All rational humans have to do is look up RADAR to learn you are clueless on RADAR and that is indicative or you knowledge on all issues 911.
