Plane parts, DNA sample matching DNA from the hijackers personal effects and hotel rooms, passenger manifests with the hijacker names on them, suicide videos made by these same people confessing their responsibility, confessing their link to Al-Qaeda, and hence to UBL as its leader...tonnes...you just refuse to believe it, because it was obtained by agents that work for law enforcement, and hence the ebil government.

Was this the same "complex computer modeling" that was done to recreate the angles of shots from Lee Harvy Oswald? Good old proof by imaginative computer models. How nice.

Truthers think they're so smart when they bring up Operation Northwoods. The reality is when they bring it up they just show how none of them can think for themselves. Every truther I have ever come across brings up ON.

They leave out the part where it was never implemented and it cost the Chairman of the JCS his job. So in actuality it really only proves that the US government can come up with stupid ideas, imagine that, that cost people their jobs.

I agree with you, Dave. If it's a choice between Dom and Derek Johnson, I choose Derek any day. At least he realizes that citing Jesus as an inspiration can lead to problems. Dom doesn't seem to understand that mental illness is not the same as an appeal to authority. I'm glad there are others here with a higher pain threshold than me.

But to follow on the trail of leprechaun evidence, I'd bet the ruins had some level of green cloth and gold. That's two items, both of which almost certainly existed in some measurable level, and this means the leprechaun theory, despite being completely ridiculous, is still more plausible than the magic thermite dust.

So far we have leprechauns with possible IRA terrorist connections, green fabric, and gold. The case for leprechauns is better supported than the case for thermite.

Now if leprechauns are complete fantasy nonsense, eminently ridiculous, but still present a better evidence-matching theory than the thermite voodoo . . . I'd have to say you don't have much of a case.
