Well, the Conservative Party Representative just explained why you don't need to be an extreme, racist party to have a realistic immigration problem that addresses peoples concerns. Regardless of the merits of the Tory proposal, I think it was important to say that, given that much of the rise in BNP support is due to perceived flaws in government immigration policy, and the lack of government response to peoples concerns in that regard.

You should work a bit on your PR-skills, because you make it sound that it is sheer luck that you folks don't smash each others brains while celebrating vibrant diversity. And sheer luck it is.

Interesting. It seems that you can cherry pick one part of my various comments on this issue and go on a nutty rant.

I have no problem with immigration. At the University I am currently at, we have a great deal of immigrants learning and generally being very useful citizens. My issue is that we know how many people are in the country, so we can properly distribute our resources to cope. Having an extra 100,000 immigrants come to one part of the country will cause a problem, if we don't give the local authorities and public services enough resources. That's what I mean by a realistic immigration policy.

The highight was when he defended David Duke's KKK organisation by saying they were 'non-violent', and tried to pretend that he couldn't talk about his views on the Holocaust because of a non-existent law.

David Duke has always been non-violent even when he was leader of the Klan. This is what put Duke on the map in the 1970s being the smart articulate Klansman.
