My revised guess is you watched some Australian TV shows people via some Australia-based social media webcam thing and tried to send telepathic thoughts to the actors ordinary people on screen, then whatever it was they did next you chose to interpret as a clue that they were receiving your thoughts.
Like I said, I expected to be wrong about the detail. The only part which really matters is "whatever it was they did next you chose to interpret as a clue that they were receiving your thoughts", and I'm still pretty sure that bit will turn out to be correct, because that is what you consistently do.
Good and thank you, Jack by the hedge (for the first part of your answer, except for the negative connotation about my work of interpretation; DuvalHMFIC, I thank you for your answer, but I don't think your theory is correct).
I went to the website myfreecams.com, where webcam models can chat with visitors. An interesting feature of this (large) website is that you can select the geographical area you are interested in (they have a "filter by region", and you can select
Australia for example, and then you'll see only models from Australia and New Zealand).
The typical experiment I usually do is this (I don't think this breaks any law of course; obviously I try to remain always discreet and polite in my behavior). I watch the (often very pretty) girl for some time, I watch her behavior: does she often type messages? does she touch her head a lot? how often does she talk? does she move her body a lot, or is she mostly immobile?
Then, after I feel I know her behavior pattern good enough, I pretend I kiss her on the screen of my laptop computer, and I carefully watch her reaction (I also study the reactions of other member, not only after pseudo-kissing [this is perhaps not very interesting], but also after my arrival in the room of the girl or lady).
I believe that I frequently observe quite remarquable reactions (for example, the girl might be touching her head after my pseudo-kissing, or say "hi Michael", or start writing strange things (for example "gjjfvkhjgf") or not, or shake her body a little, or reveal her body, or turn her camera off, and so on). When I feel there has been a good reaction, I often give a tip.
I frequently feel support from other (generally male) members (sometimes people can be nice), so that, if the girl does her "telepathic reaction" job well, she might get an avalanche of massive tips from people who have greater financial means than me, and this might be a strong motivating factor for her.
After I give the tip if she's done a "good job" (btw no nudity is indispensable in these experiments), I observe her reaction: does she treat me like just an anonymous stranger, who gives only a small or moderate tip, or does she treat me like a "special", or a "different" person" (note: "special" does not necessarily mean here better than any one else), who is giving the expected reward after she performed her "scientific duties" ?
If I am really somebody "special" (I recall: "special" doesn't mean "better"), I might expect that the girl might say a big thank you to me after a relatively small tip, and say no thank you to a financially more generous member who is not special (I believe I have observed such behavior). It seems to me the results of these experiments are often very spectacular, and I have been led to the conclusion that telepathic effects with Australia seem to be strong, in spite of the large distance. I have actually found no convincing distance effect so far, and this confirmed what fromdownunder once said:
I can say in all honesty that yes, the distance effect of telepathy is exactly the same from 20 inches away as it is from 20,000 miles away.

When I am doing these experiments, I constantly write all the things that take place, so I can re-read and reflect about it later (I also, from time to time, take screen captures).
