N Korean Leader executes uncle

Hats off and a moment of silence please, as we weep for the death of Journalism. Shameful how the world media jumped on an unsourced story from a know-to-be-unreliable source in China and utterly failed to fact check (or even smell test) the story before plastering it on the news feeds.

When stories like this come along I apologize to my children for my generation, for they will never know what true Journalism looks like.

Dog eats Korean, now that's news!
:D Alas almost certainly fabricated.

Well most "reputable" sources seemed dubious. I blame the Strait Times; they let their anti-communist agenda override proper checking.

Just wait 'til the swarms of AI controlled micro-drones take up the challenge.

I'm not sure if this is off topic or not, but has anyone ever considered the fact that Dennis Rodman might be mentally ill. I'm not joking.

I just had a horrible thought ...

Supposing that Kim executed his uncle just because that uncle gave him socks (or some such lame thing) on one of his early birthdays.

;)

Man,that was a classic meltdown. "Don't Give Me Negativity about N Korea!"

Why do I doubt that MJ is returning Dennis's calls nowdays........

Well, maybe. But we're not psychologists, and we haven't evaluated him.

I suspect, though, that it's just Rodman doing his best to get attention. He was a decent BBall player, but primarily he was known for doing wacky, outrageous crap to draw attention to himself. IIRC, he even went into wrestling for a bit. And this is the most attention he's gotten in fifteen years!

At the end of the day, we'll find out that Dennis Rodman is just today's Andy Kaufmann.

Making a clinical diagnosis without an exam is half the fun of the internet.

Well, he's a Hall-of-Famer, so probably a bit more than a "decent" player.

Andy was a genius. Everything he did was calculated. I think Dennis comes up a little short of that. If he's treading similar ground, it's just by accident.

I want to go on record as saying that Rodman is clearly working for the CIA.

I mean, after MIB blew his cover the CIA had no choice but to bring him in-house.

And Americans care about Jong's uncle - Why??????
Of course, the loveable Dennis is mentally ill. Without his talent and money, he would be living under a bridge.

Not as much as I care about misuse of apostrophes! ;)

Maybe people on this thread are interested in the internal workings of North Korea and have pragmatic concerns for how the place conducts its foreign policy. And maybe not all of the posters here are Americans.

These are just two of the mind-blowing possibilities I have just thought up that may answer your question.
