My first LC Forum post. Will it be the last?

Dylan is also asking people to call in to the radio show....saying we're scared.
Is it a premium rate number or what?
Because that has to be the only reason why he would want us to call in...

I can hear the convosation now...

'Hello you're on LTW radio'

'err Hi, I have some problems with Loose Change...'

'MY FILM, NOT YOURS!'

*dial tone*

I NEED THIS NUMBER

Other things to think - all his mates are CT'ers - does we want to lose all his mates? no.
I think of it as the Count of Monte Cristo. Edmond Dantes had a few friends around him, but nobody thought he was really important. When he returned as the Count, everybody wanted to be his friend. I won't go into details of the story, since it's such a good story and I recommend reading it, but Dylan has to keep a certain demeanour in order to be considered worthy. Unlike the Count though, he's not educated or smooth or possess any good qualities of the Count.

Actually, the entire basis for language is the fact that definitions of words don't differ from person to person. If you don't believe me, all you have to do is go down to a restaurant in Australia and ask for a "napkin" from your waitress. You'll see firsthand the sort of misunderstanding and confusion that comes about when definitions differ from person to person.

While I agree that the basis for language is that the same combinations of sounds/letters mean the same things to all speakers of that language, I still believe that the definition of "eduction" would differ since there is no such word. Perhaps look-up was referring to "education" - something which he sorely lacks.

Hold on, is the number 800-259-9231 or 888-259-9231? Not that it makes much difference, either is toll-free in the US. It would just save me waking up some poor sap with a wrong-number phone call.

Also, I like how Jason Bermas is described as a "herbalist" on the GCN site. I think we can all guess what his favorite herb is.

I can't post links (new user curse :<), but now they think we've "closed our registration". Check out shure's post.

Oh, I agree with your assesment, to be sure - I was merely pointing out the ridiculousness of what he was even attempting to say.

"Eduction" being a non-word would certainly not have a standard definition. As to what he was trying to type? Reduction? Deduction? Education? The world may never know . . . (But none of those words have definitions that vary)

Maybe she is prettier than you are? :D
Exactly my thought. We're assuming Cassandra, the name, is indicative of female womanliness as gender, of course. But if the twoofers think she's a she, she'll get a lot of leeway. Which is terrific. The fairer sex may be a way to snap at least some of the twoofers into a semblance of realism...

Well, 28th Kingdom doesn't seem to fancy her: :)

Damn... I just lost my temper... oh wow - lemme try to reply without 50 expletives... if this were my forum, you'd be banned... yea I said it... and I don't care if others agree... yer not serious about finding the truth... yer only here to argue...

How can I put this lightly... yer a clown! Understand that? Are we making sense over here? You sit there and Strawman my post to death... and, then try to act like I'm just opining... I didn't make a blank statement... because if you read all of the words I wrote before the, "Trying..." line... you will see, that I had already proved my case.

That was funny :p

Highlights

"I don't need to create my own equations to prove this point"

"I'm not debating the entire scientific community... I am debating you... and I'm whooping yer arse." :D

"JREFers are like fvcking critics...see, they don't actually do anything positive or contribute anything to the world... they simply observe ****... and then try to break it down..." :faint:

The LTW boys want an investigation so the relatives can ask the tough questions.

Many of the tough questions from the relatives would probably be directed at them.

And if the LTW boys get their way, those relatives will get banned! :D

The name is also indicative of a woman who can see the truth of things, but is doomed never to be believed by the community she inhabits...

1. I have a life. I have a medical practice, a wife, two children, two dogs. Part of "my life" is dedicated to revealing the lies and deception that takes the form of the 9/11 truth movement. I do this not so my children will grow up to be non-critical sheeple that follow anything the govt says, but so they will see that making factless, baseless claims and accusing people of horendous crimes without the mere slightest of evidence IS WRONG!!!!

2. Dylan, it is your movie...so what. Your movie, at least the last version you released, was full of lies, mistruths, and false accusations. If we have a problem with this and choose to vocalize it, that is our right. It is your private forum, and so you, of course, can ban anyone you like, but please refrain from indicating in anyway that you are fighting for the rights all americans hold so dear, when you deny those who join your site one of the most important of those rights...the right to free speech. You see noone is saying you don't have the right to make your film, and say what you like. We are merely saying that as a group, we will be here, on your ass like underwear, making sure every falsehood you spue is shown for the lie it is.

The funny thing is, if you were to join this forum, Dylan, you would likely never get banned for any of the things/reasons you ban people for. Christophera has a thread here that is longer, I think, than any other on this forum, full of insanity, lies, and BS, yet is he banned for his opinions....NO!

Dylan, you may very well become famous, but if you do, will you do us all a favor and grow up while you are at it.

Another funny thing is that Christophera was actually banned at LCF when he started about the concrete core.

The hypocrisy is highlighted by this (from the thread whose name I will not utter and where I won't post):

It's virtually impossible to convert the folks here from their religious beliefs Christophera.

Ah. My post served its purpose very nicely.

First, it showed their cowardness and extreme denial of other views once again.

But most importatly, it provided an LCF member to come to a conclusion, that insurance fraud can be dismissed as a motive. That's great. Something got through to someone after all :)

johnh63 @ LC

I looked into this a little further today. Rent-loss policies usually have both a time and a dollar limit. This gives the policyholder the incentive to rebuild his property rather than just sit on his hands and collect the rent-loss checks. At this point, five years out, I doubt Silverstein is still collecting rent-loss compensation.

Also, to emphasize the point you brought up about the NYNJPA lease, he's been paying on that lease since 9/11 even though the buildings don't exist. I believe the total payments on that over the last five years are something around $600 million.

I think insurance fraud can safely be dismissed as a motive in this case.

Not that the Hardcore members of the board would give a damn about that.
