If only this story was presented with evidence to justify accepting the claim as true.
Patience, young grasshopper.

That's his whole life.Trump's motto at this point seems to be "in for a penny, in for a pound".
Why stop tampering with witnesses now?

Mueller's office is contradicting the Buzzfeed report, according to CNN.
Trump seems to be tweeting back to reports on Fox News. So not only is he listening to the TV, he is talking back to it and expecting it to hear him. If anyone else's grandpa did that in his tatty old lounge chair, that's reasonably clear signs of dementia onset.

Quick thread.
It's interesting to re-read Cohen's sentencing statement and brief in light of the BuzzFeed report. There's this excerpt from Cohen's brief, which seems to flatly declare that the false statements to Congress were "in accordance with Client 1's directives." /1

I can't fathom what Trump is trying to achieve by threatening Cohen's father-in-law. Cohen's not going to retract. If Trump just wants to retaliate against Cohen be revealing something about his father-in-law he'd have done so already. He's clearly threatening a witness, but apparently with a bluff. Or has he seen something on InfoWars? I suppose we'll have to watch to find out.Trump Tweets
Kevin Corke,

“Don’t forget, Michael Cohen has already been convicted of perjury and fraud, and as recently as this week, the Wall Street Journal has suggested that he may have stolen tens of thousands of dollars....” Lying to reduce his jail time! Watch father-in-law!
From Mueller spokesman (per CNN):
BuzzFeed's description of specific statements to the Special Councel's Office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen's Congressional testimony are not accurate.

Chutzpah of the first order.Trump telling us not to believe Cohen because he's been convicted of perjury on behalf of Trump is weirdly awesome.

That was a really squishy statement by the Mueller team
