Hmm? Every time I see comments like this, I find myself wondering a little. It's been pretty clear, this entire time, that Americans, especially the Republican Party (but certainly not only them) are responsible for, say, at least 95% of the weighted reasons that we have Trump. The Russian contribution was a largely illegal contribution and very likely was enough to tip the scales to Trump's victory. It got attention precisely because it was illegal, foreign, and extremely... unseemly, as it should. Trump and campaign acted in an extremely suspicious manner on that front, so that, too, received attention, as it should.

None of that changes that Americans were responsible for just about all the main reasons that Trump won, of course, and when I see comments like the quoted, I wonder what, exactly, the point is? Pretty much everyone who has a problem with the Russian attacks on our Democracy is well aware that Americans are the major reason for and bear responsibility for Trump's victory, as far as I've seen, and that most of this situation came to be via perfectly legal methods.

Well said.

Jim Jordan, House Judicial committee is out there pushing the GOP message hard. The committee wants to find Barr in contempt supposedly because he's going to investigate the FBI spying on Trump for the Democrats. and this is all to distract from that.

Oh, and the FBI leadership was incompetent as evidenced by Comey and McCabe getting fired.

Do these people believe this crap or do they know they are pushing a false narrative for political reasons?

I wondered if Jordan was as looney as Nunes. I went looking.

I think this answers my question: Vanity Fair: “IDIOTS,” “ANARCHISTS,” AND “********”: JOHN BOEHNER UNLOADS ON REPUBLICANS IN POST-RETIREMENT INTERVIEW

On Freedom Caucus co-founder Rep. Jim Jordan:
“Jordan was a terrorist as a legislator going back to his days in the Ohio House and Senate … A terrorist. A legislative terrorist.”

On former House Oversight Committee chairman Jason Chaffetz:

Boehner’s beef with Chaffetz, who would later join Fox News as a paid contributor, is not personal—just that he’s a “total phony” who possessed legislative talent but focused mostly on self-promotion. “With Chaffetz,” Boehner says, “it’s always about Chaffetz.”

On Jordan and Chaffetz, combined:

“**** Jordan. **** Chaffetz. They’re both ********.”

Guess Jordan was a true believer in Chaffetz's Benghazi fanaticism.

Looks like Jordan might just believe in the Democratic Deep State.

Despite two years and millions of dollars spent, the Democrats are acting like crazed lunatics ever since the results of the Mueller Report were made public. But they knew there was NOTHING even before the Report was started. It is all a big Hoax, the biggest in American history!

Ever since the Mueller Report showed No Collusion & No Obstruction, the Dems have been working overtime to damage me and the Republican Party by issuing over 80 demands for documents and testimonies, and with NO REASON. That’s all they want to do - don’t care about anything else!

When the Mueller Report came out showing NO Collusion with Russia (of course), it was supposed to be over, back to work for the people. But the Dems have gone “nuts,” and it has actually gotten worse! Hope the Republicans win back the House in 2020, or little will get done!

The “Constitutional Crisis” is the Democrats refusing to work. Let them start by fixing the mess that their Immigration Laws have caused at the Southern Border.

In essence, the Presidential Election of 2016 was an intelligence test for American voters... they failed.

They passed the partial retest in 2018, and hopefully, they will have learned enough from that not to fail in 2020, but I have no confidence in that.

I retire in three years time, and am planning a holiday in the USA and Canada, including a few things I want to tick off my bucket list

- New Orleans for the Jazz Festival
- Cape Canaveral for a rocket launch
- The Calgary Stampede
- Christmas & New Years in New York

If you American voters fail again in 2020, you'll be a dictatorship by 2022 so I'll have to put those plans on hold.

You can still vacation in Trump's dictatorship, if you're white and do not say anything liberal. Make sure your social media is cleansed of all things critical of Trump and Conservatism.

I know two families of Americans here in Nelson (both from the SF Bay Area) who have extended their NZ visas because they don't want to go back while Trump is still POTUS.

Most Americans won't feel the tyranny if they go about their everyday lives.. except for abortion choices, homosexuality, and etc. It'll be bad, but I've been to Russia and dictatorship isn't like "movie drama" bad. Then again, the odds of being persecuted and jailed for no good reason are much higher.....

“Even Director James Clapper admits that the FBI actions against the Trump Presidential Campaign do in fact meet the definition of spying, perhaps FBI Director Christopher Wray will be the next to do so.” @LouDobbs

....and the Democrat National Committee-The Democrat Party apparatus-has been caught using donor Dollars to Collude with Russian Intelligence to attack a domestic political opponent (me). The FBI has no leadership. The Director is protecting the same gang.....that tried to....

Total ad hominem here...

re: (@TomFitton @JudicialWatch)
Geez that guy should focus on his pecs for a while. Those arms are way out of proportion. Looks like a Rob Liefeld character.

A couple of years of investigation that produced a great deal of information AND turned a profit of over $25 million dollars. Yes, it was time well spent. Now we just need to hear from Mueller so we can stop relying on punditry about the investigation and report.

Democratic leaders don't want to talk about the criminal conspiracy their party was involved in related to the illegal spying on @RealDonaldTrump Their mentality these days is to try to jail political opponents, no matter the rule of law. And yet, I hear the ghost of a chant in the background.

"Lock her up! Lock her up! Lock her up!"

Trump thinks that getting impeached will help him in 2020.
But then, Roger Stone thought that trashing his judge would help him

These people don't play 3 dimensional chess.
Dems need to play to the judicial system, not moderate/conservative voters. If Trump is in obvious, serious legal trouble, enough voters will abandon him.

The DOJ just outlined, in written form, that Tump committed crimes. There are people on this board who, from what I've seen, can't even admit to that much. I think you underestimate the power of cherry picking.

Cherry picking costs energy.
And legal battles cost money.

I have no illusions that Trump's base will switch sides - but they might stay home if their savior can't shake the investigators.
