I've received a Facebook friend request from a "Manny Badillo".

On his wall he writes: "Prison hasn't been too bad so far. They allow you computer access but if you want to craete a facebook page they require that you use your incarceration pic which kinda sux and they monitor everything. do guys dont respond to me with anything stupid."

He's using the mugshot I saw in the mugshots.com link I posted above.

I'm skeptical it's the real Manny Badillo.

Either way, I do not want to be friends with him.
 
I'm not finding this particular piece of legaltainment very legaltaining. Like the vast majority of routine legal processes, it's mostly sordid and sad.

Got something new: A British truther named Tony Rooke against the BBC. He has enlisted the help of Niels Harrit and some other dude, Tony Farrell.

This court case is based around Tony making a stand and refusing to pay his TV licence fee under Section 15 of The Terrorism Act 2000 Article 3 which states that it is offence to provide funds if there is a reasonable cause to suspect that those funds may be used for the purposes of terrorism. Tony has been charged with a crime for not paying his TV licence fee, however, he has lodged a legal challenge to this charge and has now been successful in being granted an appearance in a Magistrate’s court where he has three hours available to present his evidence to defend himself against the charge. Tony has formed a formidable team to support him in presenting the evidence, including the following two outstanding individuals:

From wiki - The West Sussex County Times (along with Horsham Advertiser and The Resident) is the main one. It's an unusual case. Sometimes bigger national newspapers pick up on the odd bit of craziness that occurs in the provinces.

I can see a contempt of court breach in this. ;)

The big delusion for truthers...which sadly we debunkers feed by responding to trolls.

The idea that their nonsense logic would last five minutes before a court of law OR a "new investigation" conducted under para-judicial procedures.

This is as pathetic as the "birthers" who have gone to prison and sacrificed their careers for the sake of the Voices In Their Heads, egged on by their fellow lunatics. At least Tony won't be going to prison or forfeiting his career.

It's only a case for not paying a tv license, and He isn't a celebutant, be lucky if it gets more than a mention in the local rag, unless a bunch of truthers start hassling people.


Sort of in a similar way that the 3000 people a week that get done for the same don't really get any coverage,

Still there goes his CRB check for when he applies for a Job.
