Well you do not really know the person might be innocent which it made me curious about the case by a person who was an advocate for 9/11 truth. I do not see this as funny nor anyone who is posting on here. Since you have posted

that you have concluded that the group entirely is using a stereotype to address a single case by a person who is an advocate for 9/11 truth which is not actually true. Sure some people tend to step their bounds on this but lets be honest just because some people on the forum are talking about children doesn't mean the entire 9/11 truth is based on it.


If he did post here, it would not belong in this subforum and should be moved elsewhere, as this thread has basically nothing to do with 9/11.

Yes you are correct this has nothing to do with the events of 9/11 but more of a person who was in the 9/11 truth movement. There are threads that have talking about a specific person in the 9/11 truth movement. That being said why not talk about a person who is almost being held in a court case?

An update:

Manny Badillo's jury trial was listed for 15 May 2012. That event was cancelled on 11 May 2012.

From the looks of that, and based on my experience working in a court (but I am not a lawyer!), it seems Manny has decided to plead guilty.

I'd appreciate if LashL or anyone more familiar with the US system could give their assessment of the situation.

Even if the outcome isn't made public he would still be registered as a sex offender, if he is found/pleads guilty.

That same site will spell out the guidelines of his plea agreement. It should show any fines, probation, or requirements after the plea is agreed too.

According to The Court, Mr. Badillo is now in the custody of the Department of Corrections, if I read the docket entry of 8/7/2012 correctly. No word on a sentence yet but curiously a second lewd conduct charge from 2008 now appears with the other charges listed. Apparently Mr. Badillo is indeed a total scumbag. Good riddance.

Yep, that pretty much sums things up. They might update the entries more fully over the next few days.

I just had a look on Facebook, and can't seem to find him on there anymore. I'm not surprised if he went into voluntary hiding before sentencing.

I cannot view the linked page on this computer; I get a message saying that I have to install an updated version of Silverlight and I'm not sure I want to do that. Any chance that you can post a screen capture? :)
 
Yes, you need Silverlight. Also, once you get it, the database is a slug of a thing.

I don't know if I posted this before. I spoke with Manny of FB about the charges. He claimed it was all a misunderstanding and a smear campaign being launched by his enemies in the Truth Movement.

Interesting. It looks like he might be in some kind of commitment program. He doesn't appear on the Fl DOC website under the inmate search.

So, maybe he is committed to some kind of inpatient rehab. I'll try to find out more.
