Thanks for the photo Glenn. Does this confirm the reinforcing in the floors ? I guess it does. Looks quite sturdy too I think. Where's the rest of it ? There can't only be a few token pieces surely ?

Tell you what, bill, do some work of your own for a change. Search out all the photos of WTC rubble and find out how much floor reinforcement you can find. Then estimate how much you should have been able to find. When you've done that, come back and tell us about it. Saying "Where's the rest of it?" based on the fact that you've been shown a couple of photos that actually show what you're looking for isn't even up to the level of an argument from incredulity. If anything, it's your usual MO of making a wild guess, assuming it's correct and then ignoring all the evidence.

I've been looking at pictures of the rubble for years Dave, and i don't recall seeing a lot of rebar matting. There is an excuse for so much of the concrtete being missing (the pulverisation) but there is no excusee that i can think of for the vast majority of 110 ACRES of rebar mattng not being here.

So to say ALL the evidence in the case of the rebar matting is a little.....you know ? A drop in the ocean will not do unless you can explain where it is all gone ?

I'm not that big on NIST actually. I do use their documents for descriptions of components and the like but I discount many of their conclusions.
A picture tells a thousand words anyway,and this icture shows the rebar. Can you imagine 110 ACRES ofthis stuff in the rubble and how it should look ?

Based on pictures posted in the last few hours, I hope you've seen the mats of wire mesh that were stripped of their low-strength concrete during the collapse.

Please acknowledge seeing the mesh. Go back and look at the pictures again if necessary. If you don't see it, ask. Don't take our time rambling on about rebar and wondering why something that didn't exist wasn't in the pile.
