McCabe: "You cannot stop the FBI from doing the right thing"

?
The only thing I'm saying is I don't believe you know any of these people. The reported rumors months ago were the rank and file were pissed that he let the bitch off. Nothing about them being pissed at Trump. Its clear you're simply making it up as you usually do!

Clues are everywhere. Get one.

Comey had no choice except to "let the bitch off", because, by that point, you Trump voters had left the country no acceptable alternative.

No, an ignorant, narcissistic, rich bubble-boy with Putin's hand up his butt was not an acceptable alternative to Clinton. You had 12 republicans to choose from, and this impeachment bait is what you chose.

And now your troubled rich boy has made it perfectly clear to all the FBI agents exactly why Comey had to "let the bitch off".

Clues about what? That there is no Russian investigation that implicates Trump?

That Comey pussed out in going after Clinton and that the rank and file were pissed?

Are they pissed now that this show boating ass has been FIRED?

A lot of people are saying (the ultimate source in Trump World is "people are saying" so you can't dispute it, neener neener neener) that he actually hasn't got the guts to fire someone in person.
Nor attend the White House Correspondents Dinner.

Nor throw out the first pitch of the baseball season.

If he were any more of a pussy he'd wrench his wrist grabbing himself.

So Trump superfluously said, in his letter of dismissal to Comey. The fact that he stuck that in there suggests very strongly it is a lie. There was no reason to insert that. It was superfluous. Which means he had an ulterior motive for sticking the assertion in the letter of dismissal.

Which means he lied. As usual.

If, as the rich boy who cries "wolf!" emptily threatened, he has the "tapes" to prove his assertion, he has already been invited to hand them over to the investigating committees. If it becomes known that he does have tapes of his discussions with Comey, they will become the subject of a subpoena.

If Comey ever bothers to respond to the threat at all, it will be something like "Go ahead. Make my day."

That Comey pussed out in going after Clinton and that the rank and file were pissed?

So the rumor goes. But now, according to the actual acting FBI director McCabe, in open sworn testimony, it is not Comey they are pissed at.

Are they pissed now that this show boating ass has been FIRED?

Yes, so McCabe clearly implied.

While you, once again, repeat a Trump embellishment. It is not "show boating" to show up and answer questions when called on to testify.

Three swings, three misses. Real clues still everywhere. But they're not coming out of Trump's mouth. And that's another clue.

Get back to us when they do that. Nothing can be more right than saving the nation from having its government usurped.

I know this is supposed to be tag-team two falls out of three for the rent money, Liberals and Progressives vs Conservatives and Reactionaries... But damn, Jack! You make it so hard when you post ridiculous stuff like this.

1. The litany of things the FBI has done wrong would fill a library shelf.
2. The DoJ guy was right - Comey totally over-stepped in both instances.

I think you're mistaking the FBI for Superman - Truth, Justice and The American Way! They're not. They've been the tool of suppression as often as they've been the tool of progress.

I'm not mistaking the FBI for Superman, but in this case they are doing the most right thing possible in working to expose the Usurper and his fellow travellers.

If only he had really done that he might still have a job. But no, he had to be a Republican lapdog - and look where it got him!

Comey got what was coming to him and I have no sympathy. Hopefully the FBI will finally start doing the right thing, now that they have figured out who the real enemy is.

If that is true, then why aren't we all bowing down before Zarg? Is the FBI that incompetent at being a tool of suppression?

Roughly 37% of this compromised electorate wants to bow down before Zarg. But Zarg was nowhere to be found, so they had to settle for Trump.

I was commenting on the "Get back to us when they do that" part. You have but to know what CoIntelPro was or familiarize yourself with the findings of the Church Committee to find times when they did the wrong thing, just about instinctively, which is what I'm pretty sure the poster was referencing and you commented on.

McCabe's statement is, in retrospect, quite dumb. For quite sometime the real task was to get the FBI to do the right thing, or alternately as theprestige put it, to stop them from doing the wrong thing.

There was no way Comey could have avoided enraging a lot of wall-eyed political hacks. But that consideration was a side note which shouldn't have affected his decisions. There is a certain freedom in the knowledge that you're damned whether you do or you don't.

Essentially, Comey had two choices: Finish up the investigation of Clinton and immediately report the findings, thereby clearing the air but enraging a large herd of wall-eyed political hacks, or keep quiet until after the election, thereby enraging another large herd of wall-eyed political hacks.

Then, when the emails were discovered on Weiner's computer, Comey again had two choices: Report to Congress that he had again been dragged back into looking into Clinton's emails, thereby enraging a large herd of wall-eyed political hacks, or keep quiet until after the election, thereby enraging another large herd of wall-eyed political hacks.

It is my personal assessment that Comey tried to choose the path that would do the least damage. He failed, because he didn't think his choices would alter the outome of the election. Either way he went, a suspect who was under investigation would end up in the Oval Office, and a large herd of wall-eyed political hacks would be enraged. I doubt Comey was thrilled about either suspect ending up in the Oval Office, but Clinton was clearly the lesser of the available evils. I've no doubt Comey knew that. Only a hopelessly politicized victim can listen to Trump speak for 10 minutes and not see there is something deeply wrong with him. Both the polls and common sense suggested that Trump couldn't win. I believe that consideration affected Comey's decisions to be open about the investigation.

This is the country's collective brain on politics. I am not taking questions at the present time.

To those who have found a convenient scapegoat in Comey, I say: the country's politics-drugged brain is not Comey's fault. As usual, there was the reflexive urge to choose a scapegoat, reward the guilty, and punish the innocent. Those urges have now been fulfilled.

Are we having fun yet?

My adaptations to your first line - why do you think Trumpf fired Comey - and don't try the Hillary excuse thing!!!!!!!??

Just wondering: What do the Trump fanbois think of the character assassination Trump is heaping on top of the firing?

The bizarre way Trump handled the firing strongly indicates that the main reason for it was a vindictive narcissistic rage: Firing wasn't enough; Trump wanted retribution for some ego injury.

True. For the insecure, narcissistic Trump, it is not enough merely to fire Comey. The giant who "has become more famous than me" (Trump's words in the posted video) must also be cut down to size.

Switch the video to Youtube, go to full screen mode, and stop the video at 0:14 to see the frightened look of threatened ego in Trump's eyes, as Comey, who stands 6' 8", towers over Trump like Chewbacca the Wookie.

Comey is YUGE! And very scary when you think he might be investigating you but you don't know. And you try to get him to tell you but he won't. And you try to get him to swear personal loyalty to you, but he won't.

So you fire Comey and make up the lie that Comey told you he is not investigating you as he groveled to keep his job, and even include the lie in your letter of dismissal. But that doesn't make you feel any better because nobody's buying it and you know Comey knows you're lying like a little bitch and hopes you do have "tapes" that can be subpoena'd. And still exerts pull on the FBI.

Oh, what a tangled web a rich bubble-boy weaves, when first he gets the big and very bad idea that he wants to be president. And doesn't know that getting there is the easy part. And doesn't understand that an intellectually and morally bankrupt, overconfident, rich bubble-boy who's never had a bad day his pampered life could easily jack up and get himself into a lot of trouble, playing at being the Big Boss Man.
