May I get your stundie nominations for May

"runners are pretty conservative people"? Has he ever even met any runners? Wait, no, don't answer that.....

Is that... hang on.. is she trying to say wet/dry rock is actually two different types of "foam"?:jaw-dropp

The last 36 hours or so she got prodded a bit (oops :) ) and started spewing a veritable fountain of stundies.

I didn't know where to start so I left it for others to do the mining.

That one above is mild.

This poster is trying to demonstrate that there are structures visible in NASA images of the moon. (S)he is using Apollo photographs taken in orbit, on the grounds that these are unedited.

The structures identified are completely illusory and exist only in his/her imagination. When challenged to identify those same structures on much clearer LRO images, we have:

With respect, I do not have to go along with the 'dribble' you keep coming out with. The image I worked on is a genuine 40-year old NASA product that was originally captured on film. The yellow and green arrows are pointing to features on the surface that are definitely not natural formations. The features showing in the image are self-evident, are they not good enough for you? The LROC images, although they have much improved resolution, are not really suitable for recognition of the lunar surface features that can be observed in the Apollo image.

(S)he could have saved the US a lot of tax dollars if they'd only told NASA this...

The entire thread is worth a read.

In addition to using a magnifying glass on her monitor to better look at the details, one the page before in the discussion.
Cause you know. 'Optical zoom' is much better than 'digital zoom'.

And this is nice evidence that you don't read the thread at all. Otherwise you would've noticed that your claims have each been entirely debunked.

Name one.

One? Let's see how high we can go... <snip a 30-strong list>

Which just goes to prove you cannot cite a single "one".
Robert Prey said:
In the interests of time and space, it is not unreasonable to cite one point at a time. Citing 30 is the equivalent of citing none. Obviously.

Yes. When a conspiracy theorist asks you to name just ONE statement he's made that was proven wrong, and you name 30, you didn't name one.

That's not the first time he has pulled that stunt. It happened just a few months ago. CM is a broken record.

I'm nominating this one:

...as he cites the wrong broken record :D

Not that he's wrong about CM. Could you imagine a debate between CM and RP?

If memory servers Robert has admitted that he's incapable of processing more than one idea at a time.

It's OK everyone - panic over, the "awesome thread" (admin's words, not mine) is back and ready to fuel the stundie engine again.

And thank the Lord for that, because otherwise we wouldn't have this, from a poster stalking a runners' forum for evidence of double dealing and fakery:

I know, it's quite amazing how not one single person who was actually there says it didn't actually happen. Maybe there's a logical explanation for that - oh wait, he provides one:

Yes..yes that's it...

I went there for the first time and poked around a few of the threads and noticed they have an obsession with blue and white stripes. Can anyone fill me in on the story behind that?

I have seen it on ATS as well. From what I can gather they think TPTB that pull of these fake events like to send the CTers little messages and clues. One of these is wearing blue and white stripped shirts or jackets or even a pillow case in cluesforum's case.

Anytime there is a tragedy and there are blue and white stripes it's proof that it never happened or some such nonsense.
