Penultimate Amazing
I have seen it written as 'ASTROnaughts' Must be from AHBs who completed high school.
I take it from this you were in the navy?
You are right of course, but I think the kind of damage that a navy ship can expect to suffer, as opposed to that of an civilian ship is of a different type.
For civilian ships Water tight doors in the bulkheads in civilian ships would not be the permanent hazard they would be in navy ships.
Then again. Maybe, just maybe. Heiwa, in his own tortured way of telling things, actually does have a point here.
Still lost some IQ points when looking at his Concordia page though.![]()
^ Hear how much wind noise there is just before the Russian jumps.
Notice how the Russian's squirrel suit is not fluttering in this powerful sounding wind before the jump.
In fact, the wind sounds like it is blowing 40 to 60 MPH, yet doesn't seem to have any effect at all on the diver during the dive.
Looks like more Red********
Last minute entry!
Now the redbull base jump off everest is a hoax because the instant expert "starbucked" can tell how fast wind is blowing by listening to the sound it makes coming through his speakers at home from a youtube video.
If he turns up the volume the wind goes faster!!! My wind goes up to 11.

I thought there was nothing up there except the sun, but it seems the moon mirage may very occasionally go a little higher than 30km in the atmosphere, but not much as it was bang on the horizon as viewed by the camera.
As you have already pointed out, the only defense to the argument that the moon, stars and planets are mere atmospheric phenomenon is that the cameras aren't light sensitive enough when contrasting with the bright sky.
This can be put to bed once and for all by flying a balloon at night. If it is possible to position the camera at 45 degrees permanently looking up we may even get a rough altitude reading as to when the stars disappear and so perhaps add a clue as to what stars really could be. Assuming we could sync the video with an air pressure altimeter concisely enough and that there was a stopwatch connected to the altimeter. I saw standard kits (sans video camera, obviously) online for about $150.
There's other great stuff in that link. I'm not familiar with this particular theory, but evidently the stars and moon are simple mirages, an effect of some atmospheric chicanery.

Percy Alkaloid said:Scientific skeptics believe that empirical investigation of reality leads to the truth, and that the scientific method is best suited to this purpose.
There are two difficulties with this. The first is that it excludes from the domain of truth those objects that can only be reported, such as colours and sounds. The second difficulty is that the domain of truth that is set up by empirical investigation is dependent on those objects that are excluded from it. These are the objects that can only be reported.
For example, there is no physical property that distinguishes a bouquet from a set of flowers. A set of flowers can only be reported as a bouquet and so is excluded from the domain of truth.
The bouquet is also a report that identifies a particular set of flowers. Without that report there is no set of flowers identified in the domain of truth.
By implication, all the objects that are found in the domain of truth pace scientific skepticism, are set up or identified by those objects that fall outside that same domain of truth.
Apparently, light proves science is false. Or something like that, anyway.
A fracture in the domain of truth

Even worse, it seems he is saying that taxonomy disproves science.![]()

I swear I've seen that odd bit about bouquets and sets of flowers before. I wonder where I read that.

Should this be in the June thread instead? (Just asking.)
Prolly. I wasn't paying attention. Should I just repost in the correct thread?
Only a Jew can be the Messiah?
Recent studies prove that everybody has the same DNA on earth.
If Jesus had family then I’m directly related to them.
You can’t deny modern science and the facts.
So I have never spent much time at Before It's News but I found a writer over there named King of Shambhala who seems to think Obama is the anti-christ and he, King, is the Messiah. It's all really rational and well thought out in this article
Anyone who disagrees with him is an NSA shill and it makes the comments section quite funny. From what I can tell KOS is a French Buddhist with a serious hard on for the president. When some one points out that the messiah can't be a buddhist but would be Jewish KOS levels this argument,
I guess we are all the messiah...
