Sorry to be a douche, but I dislike when people use the terms "minorty" or "minorities" in a context in which it is so vague as to be essentially meaningless. As to your final clause in general, do you mean to claim that service members* are better educated than the average "minority"** American, or that "minority" service members are better educated than the average American?

*what exactly does that term encompass?

I would join them.
It sends the right message.
If you do not want to be killed and have your dead body urinated on, don't join the taliban.
What, do you think it would anger people and want them to join?

Did you know these marines are out there killing people and getting killed. Urinating on those out to kill you after you kill them is a very human response. I would. Why wouldn't you?

Should they urinate on them before they kill them?

It seems the urination is the more ethical of the two acts. If they could, I am sure they would prefer urinating on them instead of killing them.
 
maybe it is bad because they are wasting their urine? Is that the problem? THe urine is too good for the dead taliban? And we are, in fact, blessing the dead taliban with the holy marine urine and this is the problem you are having?

I saw the video. It does not look like they are actually doing it at all, by the way. So maybe you are angry that they did NOT do it.

Anyway, when I heard this I did not feel anger. I felt envy. I would love to urinate on some dead taliban or al qaeda. Clearly you would not. I would like to understand why that is.

They dececrated dead bodies (or at least pretended to) which is seen as abhorrent by many if not most societies. It was an unnecessary act committed to be funny or gain recognition of some sort that paints their brother Marines (an the us military) in a bad light & harming their reputations as well. Thus, stupid.
 
Shooting them to death: OK.
Urinating on them after the are no longer alive: Horrible.

How does that make sense?

Dead bodies of people out to kill your wife's husband, your kid's father, and your parent's son. It is a human reaction. You cannot comdem people for being human.

If burying Osama at see to prevent Ialmaic fundamentalists from building a shrine was an effective deterrent, this would just as well.

I honestly think that even the most radical Islamic fundamentalists would understand this is war and would understand the psychology of war and warriors and would thus be more understanding of this action than the peaceniks who are out of touch with reality and the real world. The marines do not go to war expecting to be saintly. Otherwise there would be no dead taliban in this video.
