MAGA after Trump - What happens after Trump is dead ?

I do wonder who they'll pick - none of them have the "charisma" (can't bring myself to say that without distancing myself a little) that the cultist crave. JD Vance definitely doesn't. Stephen Miller is out of the question (pity, really, having him front and centre of the movemrnt would probably kill it in a couple of hours). That is often the problem for Trumpian type leaders; they won't allow anyone else into the limelight with them. Good, in that case. Couldn't happen to a nicer cult.

If not, that whole swearing in ceremony, in full daylight and touching a holy book would do the job. Ladies and gentlemen of the United States I present your new President... A smoking pile of dust and ashes!

Nothing much happens. We go back to normal. The elites will take 10 years to fix the damage for us elites suchs as...science and healthcare. For MAGA, they just go back to working as tree service, cable TV/Internet installers, slaughter house workers (illegals left), Amazon warehouse and delivery and security guards.

I can only hope your idealistic dream comes true.

Well, the country, not MAGA, is a bit broken. States will gain power and take up some duties. It will cost more. Bureaucracies run best at some scale. The US is a bit too large to run well.

As I have written several times already, I think that the correct model to look for if Trump dies in office is Venezuela. When the popular dictator Chávez dies, the non-entity vice president Maduro was able to take the reins and and keep them. Vance is in a very good position.
I think the more apt comparison will be when a Soviet leader died in office, a vicious jockeying for power with an initially unexpected result. Obviously assuming that the structures are there to keep the Party in power permanently.

Problem for them is each one is planning for himself as the successor, or in cases like Thiel, his human puppet on a string.
Especially since they don't have the equivalent of the KGB/FSB, or the assurance the army will be loyal to them, to make sure things remain the same, whoever is in apparent power.

I don't know for all 30 million. But the rurals will be brainwashed till that generation is dead. Or had lost the farm.
White Rural Rage: The Threat to American Democracy
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • A searing portrait and damning takedown of America’s proudest citizens—who are also the least likely to defend its core principles

“This is an important book that ought to be read by anyone who wants to understand politics in the perilous Age of Trump.”—David Corn, New York Times bestselling author of American Psychosis

White rural voters hold the greatest electoral sway of any demographic group in the United States, yet rural communities suffer from poor healthcare access, failing infrastructure, and severe manufacturing and farming job losses. Rural voters believe our nation has betrayed them, and to some degree, they’re right. In White Rural Rage, Tom Schaller and Paul Waldman explore why rural Whites have failed to reap the benefits from their outsize political power and why, as a result, they are the most likely group to abandon democratic norms and traditions. Their rage—stoked daily by Republican politicians and the conservative media—now poses an existential threat to the United States.

Schaller and Waldman show how vulnerable U.S. democracy has become to rural Whites who, despite legitimate grievances, are increasingly inclined to hold racist and xenophobic beliefs, to believe in conspiracy theories, to accept violence as a legitimate course of political action, and to exhibit antidemocratic tendencies. Rural White Americans’ attitude might best be described as “I love my country, but not our country,” Schaller and Waldman argue. This phenomenon is the patriot paradox of rural America: The citizens who take such pride in their patriotism are also the least likely to defend core American principles. And by stoking rural Whites’ anger rather than addressing the hard problems they face, conservative politicians and talking heads create a feedback loop of resentments that are undermining American democracy.

Schaller and Waldman provocatively critique both the structures that permit rural Whites’ disproportionate influence over American governance and the prospects for creating a pluralist, inclusive democracy that delivers policy solutions that benefit rural communities. They conclude with a political reimagining that offers a better future for both rural people and the rest of America.

The midwest and west of the USA will become a dustbowl for decades, without the benefit if federal job-creation schemes to alleviate the desolation. It will look a lot like the set of Bladerunner 2049.

What is happening as the economy crumbles is that the people, blue and more red voters than before, are handing government positions to blue candidates.

The orange menace is the kryptonite to most voting for R or worse Maga again soon.

Donny will be leaning harder on his billionaire friends and they may support him a while longer.
Until his erratic policy chaos and bad decisions hurt them then they dump him too.

Like the working class, the farmers, the non whites and the medically challenged are now.

America is already rallying as a nation to reclaim thier government from this orange dictator fool and making progress. It took watching themselves nearly lose everything they value to his power tripping.

This year has seen a record number of Americans win prizes at The Stupid Games.

This is the same tweet in the same words that was done under another spoof account name a few months ago.
They are not too big on reality, so this seems appropriate. I am pretty sure there are are at leas 10 "independent" voters in the country who did not like Harris' cackle. And have lost their insulin.
