Pixel42, I can see you understand these things. I have a question.

I am on flaccon's and scrappy's Partial Ignore List. I know this because I never get to see the part of their reply which relates to tests, posting evidence or other on-topic stuff.

My question is: is that because they aren't able to see my question or because I'm not able to see their reply? :confused:

Yeah I can see the posts. I was on the OP's ignore list for the test and I could see their posts. They got a warning about mine (you can't read this because tuxcat's on your ignore list) but I could see theirs no problem.

As far as I know neither scrappy or flaccon have ever answered anyone's questions lately. Or kept on topic, or talked about tests or evidence.

No, there was no exclusive agreement I had with flaccon. I haven't posted them before only because of convenience. There are now two new files at the Box.com file collection previously set up.

VolumeUpInt.wav is the file flaccon and scrappy stated was transformed on their computers. 2013-07-06 21-26-30.144 - Copy.wmv is the most recent file flaccon requested, a recording of "silence" but in the WMV format.

That warning appears in place of the ignored poster's post.

Sorry, I got it the wrong way round.

Daylightstar, when you came off ignore were the suppressed posts revealed?

Thanks. I hear no silence or "robin" - just white noise probably from a fan of some sort. ETA: that's for the WAV. The MVW is just a dark blue screen with the usual audio artefacts that webcams generate.

I cover mine with paper and scellotape when it's not in use to stop hackers spying on me.

You probably mean when I took tuxcat off ignore.
As I took tuxcat off ignore, his posts appeared again as normal.

Once you have someone on ignore, you'll still see that they posted, just not what they posted.

That's what I hear too. Well spotted about the fan, probably the cooling fan in js's computer. My fan changes speed and switches on and off frequently. Could that kind of artefact explain some of the noises which flaccon hears?

The OP didn't come to JREF seeking methodology to test if her claims are objectively true. She came seeking more "documentation" validating her claims. From my perspective, she has been (for quite a while, it seems) attempting to build a collection of "validations" for her fantasy that she has been chosen to talk to the dead. I'm sure she will add to her collection that a JREF skeptic came to her house and heard words on her audio clips, and that he became frightened at the prospect of communicating with demons and ran out of the house. Documented.

Conversing with the dead is what gives the OP excitement and a sense of special self-worth. There is absolutely no way she's about to risk these values by participating in an experiment which might expose the awful truth...that these conversations have been taking place between the OP and the OP. And if, by some miracle, testing of this type were to occur, the OP and her believers would casually wave the results away, claiming Randi's evil magic powers confused the "spirits", or some such.
