None of us have any interest in such foolish questions.

However I have provided links before to LDS member sites and LDS official sites who do answer such matters.

We've explained to you why those sites don't answer the questions. So what's the point of referring us to propaganda and ad hoc explanations?

I don't know if the MTC has done away with teaching it

It's in the Missionary Manual, on lds.org Preach My Gospel: A Guide to Missionary Service, (2004), 155–74

Ideas for Helping Members...
There are many ways to encourage members to become more involved in missionary work. Consider the following ideas:...
Encourage them to visit acquaintances who have recently experienced a life-changing event (birth, death in the family, marriage, or recently moved)...

Usually, the manuals on lds.org are the ones that are current, so this appears to still be missionary policy. I'll have to ask our missionaries on Sunday.

Is this intended to serve as an answer to my patient questions?

To set the record straight, you have not ever answered the question of the BoM anachronisms. Impugning my motivations and my qualifications is not an answer. Bearing false witness is not an answer. Pretending to the moral high ground is not an answer. Quoting wholly-owned LDS house organs is not providing information from neutral sources--you scoff at anything with which you disagree as "anti-mormon", yet you expect uncritical pro-mormon apologetic sites to be taken at face value.

If you do not know of any of the anachronisms claimed in the BoM that have been demonstrated to exist as attested to by empirical evidence from neutral sources, just say so.

OTH, if you do not intend to engage, why are you here?

ETA: who is "us"?

Yeah, you already said that in post 4714
No, that is not so, the response you refer to was not to the same quoted question nor to the same post.

Yes. I've made that point a few times in this thread. We were told to look for newlyweds, new parents, those who suffered the death of a loved one, loss of job, graduation, people who recently became good friends with a Mormon. Good and bad events can be very powerful. AIU, other cults and churches do likewise. Odd that god should have a marketing dept.

Three of my sons are returned missionaries. None of them were ever given such instructions. Nor were any other returned missionaries of my acquaintance.

My three sons and their and my acquaintances, who have served missions more recently, affirm that they were never told to ask such questions.
Those are in effect the same.

Four of my sons are married for time and eternity, having married in the Sydney and Brisbane Australia Temples.

You seem uncertain how many sons you have. Why is this? The first statement specifies "My three sons". The second states "Four of my sons" implying there are others.

Care to explain why you have no idea how many sons you have?

Of course you don't because to honestly address them would mean to face up to the fact that LDS teachings about the history of America, including its native peoples, flora and fauna, are a false.

However I have provided links before to LDS member sites and LDS official sites who do answer such matters.

And that's all you can do because you know that if you were to put any of these defences up for discussion they would not be able to stand up to the harsh light of critical examination.

Those are biased Pro-Mormon sites. Please provide something that is not. Thank you.

She said a while ago she has six children. She's been consistent in that she had three sons who served a mission. I'm assuming that she had one who did not. All four sons married in the temple. She may have more sons, she may have two daughters. But I never saw any inconsistency in her story, here.

Maybe one son sprouted a clone

Read and comprehend

What you said:
My three sons and their and my acquaintances, who have served missions more recently, affirm that they were never told to ask such questions.

And what you may have intended to say:
My three sons and their and my acquaintances who have served missions more recently affirm that they were never told to ask such questions.

Are different things entirely.

It's not about the comprehension of others but your failed grammar.
