You don't have to "put up with it" -- you can leave the house, and have her sent to jail. The Bible just said you made a life-long commitment to her, and so you're still married to her even if she does horrible things to you.

Frankly, he doesn't even have enough sense to look at the record of child actors who actually contributed something once they left Hollywood, and to follow their lead. People like Charlie Korsmo and Shirley Temple Black are actually contributing something to society and to the National dialogue. Cameron doesn't even have the sense to listen.

I liked your post. But I didn't agree with this part. As far as child actors go Kirk Cameron turned out pretty darn good. I think one of the child actors from the show has since commit suicide. Tracy Gold was really messed up for a while... but she is ok now.... and there are really tonnes more child actors that did not fair nearly as well as Kirk. It kind of saddens me though.... he is as you say kind of nuts. I really think he could have had just a great acting career (I said earlier Tom Hanks like).

Also I watched the interview. The media kind of reports the story like Kirk went on the show to slam gay marriage. I don't think he would have brought it up if he wasn't prodded. But in the end he is hard core Christian and that is his view. He also thinks I'm going to hell.... oh well.
