Or maybe again your explanation fails, having to add a detail that is not there. We had discussed this several times before and she believed in it.

Even if it did, why would that be important?

I suspect you missed the point of my post. If I were to attach significance to the quote it would be because my mind, like all our minds, are very good at making connections, not because of some cosmic magic.

And, in any case, oft-quoted quotes tend to be oft-quoted because they resonate with many people. :-)

No. It means you are now making connections for other people and calling even that proof. Your standards of proof are abysmally low, and your skeptical knowledge is poor, despite your claims otherwise.

Here's a fun one that also shows ( I won't say proves out of fear of the response) the Other Side has quite a sense of humor in addition to just wanting to let us know their soul lives on. My Dad died in 2007 well before Sarah Palin became a huge well-known figure. My Mom (no jokes please) looooovvvvvvvveeeeeedddd her. My Dad, if he had been alive would have looooooooooooovvvvvvvvvveeeeedddd her just as much.
A very popular book was then born about her life (can't remember the name offhand). It had very long waiting lists at public libraries. Long after the book is published my Mom gets in the mail a postcard from a library (we didn't belong to or work at) which has my Dad's name on it and says the book he requested from the library about Sarah Palin is now available for him to pick up! My Mom had not put in any reserves for the book.
No other reserves in my Dad's name have come since then.

To be fair...

...I think batvette gave the survey results not to give weight to the argument that psychic claims are true, but to put forth the statistical probability that the person "called back" was statistically likely to believe in psychic claims, so that such a proposition would not be an immediate "turn off", as some suggested.

Still waiting for an answer to my "angel" question, though!
