Is homeopathy a sham?

Where is the evidence that homeopathy works? At best it is placebo effect

There is PLENTY of evidence, and I have presented it numerous times.
Railing against homeopathy is pointless--it WORKS--Randi says "just do it" and homeopaths have.
Only the very closed-minded will deny the efficacy of something that works time and time again.
LOGIC is your friend, people--use it!
Life has a funny way of sneaking up on you if you don't.

Mmm. No, not very interesting. What else you got?

That doesn't make ANY sense.
Rain is caused by the condensation of water; you can wash your car any time you want.
One has NOTHING to do with the other!
LOL, you have no idea what you are talking about.
Lecturing me is basically counter-productive if you are just going to spout nonsense.

Still trolling, I see.
I do not believe that you believe a word of what you are saying.

I am sure s/he's serious. No one could ever pull off being so consistenly dull as to post the drivel that is passed off as evidence. A good jokester can't help but show a glimmer of intelligence once in a while.

Boring. Do you have any evidence to present? Links to genuine studies? We know that homeopathy works by the placebo effect, do you have links to any case studies where homeopathy cured a serious disease? Not that you will do that, I think you are trolling. The ignore button is calling.

It's customary to win the race before taking a victory lap.

I think if you look at it from the right perspective, he won long ago.
Look at it: here is (are?) a horde of people enthralled with their own cleverness.
I note, however, that nearly none of them have actually paid attention to what he said.
Keeps them coming back again and again, only to skim the surface.
Either you're willing to dig a little bit deeper, or you're not.
Perhaps they'll never see what's painfully obvious to many others.
I suspect that if this thread hadn't started out the way it did it'd have gone differently:
Either way, though, it's certainly informational to watch.

His ESP thread had an interesting vibe as well.

Terrible excuses, I think not--this is EVIDENCE.
Randi himself is on the record as stating there is value in homeopathic medicine.
Oncologists know to use homeopathic methods when treating cancer patients.
Libraries are full of books detailing the success of homeopathic medicine over the years.
Linking to some hack website article only makes people here look worse.

What it all comes down to is that I haven't got it all figured out just yet.
But I've still got one hand in my pocket and the other one is giving the peace sign.

How can he win? Homeopathy is a sham. Unless you have any evidence to the contrary?

Now that there's a Stundie nomination from this thread, I think it's time some people
opened up
with their real agenda in this thread, because
after all, we're simply regurgitating old tired and
inconsistent
tautologies and logical fallacies.
I don't think there's any reason for this thread to
get the attention that it does, given the fact that
only a couple of people are posting for
the "science" of homeopaty, and
irregardless,
there is nothing scientific about it.

Myself, I just can't believe that these homeopathy guys have the stones to post here.
Even while people die due to not getting real medical treatment for things like, I dunno, AIDS!

The least we can do is have them wear some type of "woo" badge so lurkers don't read their posts.
Or, maybe there is some default setting in the forum software that could flag their posts.
On the other hand, it's probably pointless.

Why are some posts appearing as blank verse?

Under suspicion, some of the woo-inclined have started with weird formatting.
Moreover, they think this hides their poor arguments.
After all, poor arguments are all they have.
Don't you think you should just ignore them
?

Re-reading my own post I see that it appears the formatting is broken.
Of course, it could just be my enter-key. ;)
For all intents and purposes I am normally able to type better than that.
Looking through the thread, I see several posts with strange formatting.
Could there be something we're not seeing?
Otherwise I guess we should contact a forum admin.
Posting might be broken somehow.
That's the two reasons I can come up with for the strange formatting.
English isn't my mother tounge, of course.
Rather odd anyhow.

Probably, when you cut / paste from
Other browser windows or notepad.
ETA - Like I did with this post

Not yet.

To follow the true form of "woo-ku" poetry, you need to include LOGIC or EVIDENCE in caps on a regular basis.
