Very interesting that some people (USers, I assume, or some of their friends) refuse to grasp with the fact that Venezuela is a sovereign nation free of Yankee interference.
As for companhero Chavez, we like to remember him his way..

Unless you are Venezuelan citizen, whether Venezuela` s politics is corrupted or not it is not your damn business, but it is business of the Venezuelan people who have voted for Chavez first and Maduro now.

On JREF, we discuss internal issues concerning any nation members have an interest in. It's a discussion forum, all topics are on the table. Meaning it's all our damn business. If you've got a problem with that... leave.

It's free of US interference, but it's not a soverign nation, not by a long shot. It's essentially a colony of Cuba, critical descisions are made in Havana, not Caracas. That's why they need a stupid president who hasn't even completed high school, but has recieved training in Cuba.

You've shown none and are a hypocrite to boot. You complain about the US in a thread on Hugo Chavez and his death, then try to dismiss others because they're not Venezuelan while you're not American.

I notice you agree with Venezuela being a Cuban colony. Honesty is good, though this does mean it's not a soverign state, invalidating your arguments to soverignty.

Caprilles outlined some 3,000 major violations of the voting process, including death threats to opposition witnesses. The violations threatned some 5,000,000 votes, a third of all cast. The government blatantly used and abused it's power to obtain votes for it's candidates. Are you fine with those?

I notice you ignored the part where Lula openly supported one side and didn't condemn it. I guess you don't criticize violations of soverignty as long as they only occur in favor of the side you support.

Maduro is getting sworn in. Funny how Venezuelan electoral authorities find it acceptable to swear in a candidate they openly support before the vote count is completed, and so few people find that a problem. Logic and all that aside, it's unconstitutional, the date for swearing in cannot be changed from January 10th, this was an issue that came up earlier this year.

Imagine the world reaction had George Bush be sworn in november 2000, before the Florida count would be finished.
