How long before the theories start that Bin Laden isn't really dead...

The theme I keep running across is how convient this is in terms of timing. Here are a few with my reaction.

1. Just in time for re-election! (Really? Primaries haven't even begun!)

2. Distract from the fake BC! (False premise!)

3. Distract from having to release his school records which is what he wanted to hide all along! The BC was a planted distraction! (You would just declare them fake anyway.)

4. Distract from gas prices/economy/rabid zombie bear-odactyls. (I am still concerned about all of those things.)

No matter when something happens, something else also happens! Why would they not do it during Katrina or the gulf oil spill? Just because things happen doesn't mean they are connected.

Instantly, as fast it takes to have a reflex to an input. CTers heard UBL is dead, the first crazy idea was formed. Instant stupid claims, reflex for the fringe few, the special, ct nuts (at least they are fast, faster than i).



Who in charge of the list of crazy claims?
 
I'd wager that most Birthers will jump on the 'Osama never died' bandwagon.

Anything to fuel the rabid right wing's hatred of a black man in the White House

How long before the tinfoil hatters blame the Jews? The Jews seem to be the most popular scapegoat of conspiracy nuts.
 
What it really comes down to is whether it would be better for the US to demoralize mainstreet Islamofascists by proving Osama is dead with pictures (or even better, video) of his mangled body and an independent corroboration that the DNA of the man they killed was bin Laden (surely after all the talk in the Obama Whitehouse about terrorists having rights they remembered to bring a couple FBI agents on this raid with instructions to Mirandize any captives and protect the chain of custody of any *evidence* that was gathered so they could be tried?) or let mainstreet Islamofascists continue to claim Osama is alive and thus use that to gather followers? In this case, I think doubt works in favor of the islamofascists so I say they should post everything they have that proves Obama is kaput. And to quell any criticism of his body's treatment afterwords (personally, I think they were much to nice), they should post the video of his *funeral rights* at sea. They did remember to film that event, didn't they? :D

I have a hunch Alex Jones is a bit like Glenn Beck- he plays a paranoid lunatic when on mike- off mike, he's just an a-hole.
Either that, or he really is batsh*t crazy..
