I was pointing out that the Nazis were quite willing to let typhus run unchecked in the camps, it made their job easier. I met a camp survivor, 14 yo when she went in, who said that disease was just part of "life" there. (She was a guest speaker in Gordon Mork's class on the topic at Purdue if anyone's interested.)
Holocaust survivors are a dime a dozen. They are everywhere.
